Michelle Williams has been offered the role of Glinda, the Good Witch, in Oz: The Great and Powerful.
The prequel take on The Wizard of Oz already has James Franco and Mila Kunis signed on and is being directed by Sam Raimi.
Rachel Weisz is in talks to play Evanora, the evil witch who wants to rule the land and tries to woo Mila's character to the dark side.
If the deal goes through for Michelle, 30, she will play the powerful witch who teams up with Franco to defeat Evanora.

Dancing with the Stars Finalists Revealed...
Season 12 of Dancing with the Stars is in the final stretch!
After the final four competed in the semi-finals of ABC's hit show on Monday night, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas ended up atop the leader board with the highest score while Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff earned the lowest.
But the fans have saved Ralph and Karina before, so were they sent packing on Tuesday night's elimination? Or was it Hines Ward and Kim Johnson or Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who said goodbye before next week's finale?
In the end, viewers won't get to see Ralph and Karina compete in the ballroom for that mirror-ball trophy. Maksim and Kirstie, who were in the bottom two, were safe. Chelsea and Mark and Hines and Kym were also safe and will dance in the finale on Monday night, with the season 12 champ being named on Tuesday.
"I will never forget how the fans have driven us through every week," Ralph said, following the announcement. "It inspired me. I would run here every Monday for us to present what we workedon."
He also thanked his partner. "Karina, you have inspired me in so many ways with your heart, your talent, your class, your integrity as an artist, and even more so as a human being," he told her. "I am proud to have been your dance partner and even more proud to be your friend."
Kelsey Grammer Files for Sole Custody of Kids...
The plot thickens in the heated split between Kelsey Grammer and ex-wife Camille Grammer.
In court papers filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Kelsey, 56, is requesting primary physical custody of Mason, 9, and Jude, 6. The two children he has with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 42.
The filing, which offers Camille time with the kids during half of their summer and half of their winter break, asks for the new custody agreement to begin after July 2, one year since Camille filed for divorce from the now remarried actor.
"Any statement would be inappropriate," Kelsey's says. "The filing speaks for itself."
Matthew Morrison to join Backstreet Boys tour...
"Glee" star Matthew Morrison is set to join the Backstreet Boys on their upcoming tour with New Kids on the Block.
Matthew, who recently released his first solo, self-titled album, has altered his summer concert plans so he can team up with the boy bands.
During an appearance on "Good Morning America," he says, "This is the first time I'm going to announce this, it happened this past weekend. Things kind of changed in my tour that was scheduled.
"There are going to be some cities that are going to stay (the same) but I'm going to be joining the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block and play in some arenas."
The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block tour is set to kick off on June 2 in Connecticut before wrapping July 30 in Pennsylvania.
There is no word yet on which tour dates will feature Matthew, who is scheduled to embark on his solo tour in Minnesota on June 18.

The "Titanic" hunk split from his on/off girlfriend of six years earlier this month, and is seemingly moving on with Blake, who he was spotted enjoying a night out with in Cannes.
The pair was seen at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc and enjoyed a romantic stroll around the venue's gardens.
A source reveals, "She was wearing white and he was in a baseball cap. They walked around the grounds together. It looked like they were a couple."
The pair was introduced by director Baz Luhrmann in November after Blake auditioned for the role of Daisy Buchanan in the Aussie moviemaker's update of "The Great Gatsby." She lost out on the role to British star Carey Mulligan.

Nicki Minaj has parted ways with her manager Sean 'Diddy' Combs to work with the music moguls backing her label-mate Drake, according to a report.
The chart phenomenon, who is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label, joined fellow hip-hop star Rick Ross on Combs' management roster last May.
But according to reports, Nicki has left Sean to put her career in the hands of Gee Roberson and Kyambo Joshua, who run production company Hip-Hop Since 1978.
The firm manages her mentor Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye West and Young Jeezy.
Leighton Meester and Justin Long dating...
"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester has found love with Drew Barrymore's ex-boyfriend Justin Long, according to a new report.
Leighton split from her "Gossip Girl" co-star Sebastian Stan last year and has now sparked speculation of a budding romance with Justin after they enjoyed a date in Hollywood.
The new couple shared a romantic dinner at French bistro La Poubelle, where they stayed past midnight. They were also spotted holding hands outside the restaurant.
And the stars weren't shy about being seen together, an onlooker reveals, "They were happily willing to talk to fans who approached them."
Justin's on/off romance with Drew ended in 2008, but they remained friends and went on to star as lovers in the 2010 comedy "Going the Distance."

It's Lindsay Lohan...
Lindsay is preparing for another stint behind bars next month for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI charge by stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in California earlier this year.
She entered a no contest plea to a misdemeanor theft charge last week and was handed three years probation.
But despite her latest legal woes, Lindsay headed to L.A.'s posh Chateau Marmont hotel on Sunday for the DeLeon Tequila party, where The Kills were playing, and hung out with rocker Marilyn Manson.
However, she was quickly asked to leave the bash as she was not invited to join in the festivities, despite once living in the hotel for two years.
DeLeon Tequila boss Brent Hocking says, "Lindsay was not invited... I advised Chateau management she wasn't invited and that it wasn't a good idea for her to be there, given her history."
A representative for Lohan denied she had crashed the party, insisting: "She did not crash, she is friends with Jamie Hince from The Kills. She came to visit him and went home."
