Rycroft 'Dancing' again after neck injury
Melissa Rycroft performed on "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Monday night after suffering a herniated disc in her upper neck during the weekend. "I'm on a little medication right now," People.com quoted Rycroft as saying before she hit the floor for the all-star edition of the competition show. "[But] I'm officially cleared to dance." There will be no weekly elimination on Tuesday night's episode, People.com said. Still in the running with their professional dance partners for the show's coveted mirror ball trophy are Sabrina Bryan, Kirstie Alley, Apolo Ohno, Gilles Marini, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson and Emmitt Smith. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are the co-hosts of the show.
Tony Scott Autopsy Results
Filmmaker Tony Scott had an antidepressant and a sleep aid in his system when he jumped from California's Vincent Thomas Bridge, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said. Scott had no serious medical conditions, including cancer, at the time of his death, the Los Angeles Times said Monday. Police told the newspaper they still don't have a clear motive for why he killed himself in August at the age of 68. Rumors circulated after Scott's suicide saying the native Englishman was suffering from a brain tumor, but his family has vehemently denied the speculation. Therapeutic levels of the sleep aid Lunesta and the anti-depressant mirtazapine were found in his system, the Times said toxicology tests showed. Scott frequently worked with actors Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington. Among Scott's films were "Top Gun," "Beverly Hills Cop II," "Days of Thunder," "The Last Boy Scout," "True Romance," "Crimson Tide," "Enemy of the State," "Spy Game," "Deja Vu," "The Taking of Pelham 123" and "Unstoppable."

DeGeneres is winner of Mark Twain Prize
Ellen DeGeneres wins the 15th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor for her "unique contributions" to comedy, Washington's Kennedy Center chairman said. Scheduled to salute the talk-show host and comedienne at the center Monday were Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Harvey, Sean Hayes, Jimmy Kimmel, John Krasinski, John Leguizamo, Jane Lynch, Jason Mraz, Lily Tomlin, Loudon Wainwright III and others. The program will air on PBS stations nationwide Oct. 30. "The Kennedy Center is happy to recognize Ellen DeGeneres' unique contributions to the world of comedy," Kennedy Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein said in a statement. "Through her television programs, stand-up appearances, movies, and even commercials, her special brand of humor has allowed us to find hilarity in the mundane and has kept us laughing for years." "It's such an honor to receive the Mark Twain Prize," DeGeneres said upon learning of the honor. "To get the same award that has been given to people like Bill Cosby, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell, it really makes me wonder ... why didn't I get this sooner?"

It's Gerard Butler...
But Gerard fears moviegoers think a rear end-baring scene is written into his contract, just so he can get naked. Gerard says, "I love to show my rear end in roles. I fear it's becoming a bit of a habit, a tradition that I have to show my rear in every movie that I can."
