Here's the Scoop....Pop idol Demi Lovato has inked a deal to join Simon Cowell on the judging panel of "The X Factor."
The Disney star officially signed a contract for the upcoming second season of the TV talent show, according to reports.
Demi joins fellow newcomer Britney Spears as they replace ousted judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
An official announcement is due to take place in New York City this week.

Sheryl Crow forgets lyrics during show...Singer Sheryl Crow kept her cool during a show in Florida on Saturday after forgetting the words to one of her biggest hits.
The "All I Wanna Do" star was performing her song "Soak Up the Sun" in St. Petersburg when she found herself struggling to sing the correct lyrics.
Speaking to the audience, she asked, "Oh, what's the words?" and added: "It's live! Nothing on tape here!"
She then joked, "I'm 50 what can I say! My brain has gone to s-" before finishing her set.
'30 Rock' to end after next season...Tina Fey's hit comedy "30 Rock" will come to an end after one more season.
The series has been a critical smash since it first aired in 2006, and has won a string of Emmys and Golden Globe awards.
It was reported Fey's co-star Alec Baldwin was leaving the hit show earlier this year, but bosses at NBC have confirmed the main cast will all return for a seventh and final run.
The move comes amid falling ratings for the show, which has attracted star cameos from Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Susan Sarandon, Matt Damon and environment campaigner Al Gore.
When asked by a fan on Twitter what he felt about the show's end, Baldwin replied: "The time is nigh."
NBC bosses will also axe the network's other comedies "Community" and "Parks and Recreation" after one more season to make way for new projects.

The performer kicked off her Born This Way Ball trek last month in South Korea, and she staged her sixth show in Tokyo on Thursday night.
And Gaga revealed to fans that it'S the only evening she's not had to leave the stage to be sick.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Yes Tokyo! Tonight was the first BTWBall that I didn't puke during show. (Yes its that hard) (sic)."
It's not the first time Gaga has battled through illness to perform for fans. She had to vomit in between songs during a concert in London last year after falling sick with food poisoning.
Riley brushes off 'Glee' departure reports...Actress Amber Riley has played down reports she is leaving "Glee" for good, insisting her tweet on the subject was "misconstrued."
The 26-year-old, who plays Mercedes Jones on the musical series, was rumored to be bidding farewell to the show at the end of the current third season as her character graduates from school, and she fueled the gossip with a post on her Twitter page on Wednesday.
She told fans, "That's a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them every day! I have so many brothers and sisters now. But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! School's Out Glee Kids! Let�s play!"
However, Riley returned to the site on Thursday to address the speculation about her future on the show.
In a series of posts, she writes, "My tweet apparently has been misconstrued. I was not confirming I was leaving the show. Just stating that I would miss being in the classroom every day with the cast and that would be changing.
"Thanks for the support guys. That's the good and bad thing about Twitter. It can be used to extinguish rumors but it also spreads them like wildfire!"
