Saturday, July 21, 2012Hello Everyone...
No I'm not talking about the NBC hit show, The Office and resident old guy/wildcard Creed Bratton. (Though he is perhaps one of the best characters on the show)
When a co-worker accused another of singing all his songs like 90's rock band Creed, the office exploded in discussion on how bad Creed was/is (not sure if they are still a thing) I don't know what their deal was- none of their songs were particularly catchy or memorable outside the comically deep voice of Scott Stapp. There have been plenty of deep-voiced singers prior to Creed's, but it seemed like they hit a threshold for just being too ridiculous. It's like they took Pearl Jam's formula, blended it together in an indistinguishable mess, and just threw it all up onto a record. I can't say too much more about them, because my Mom is a fan, and usually reads these (hi Ma!)
So here's a Pearl Jam song.
