And the Lord God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them.

And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

Genesis 2:18-20

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Many wrote asking for references on creation science. The three best places to start would be your nearest Christian Book store, the Creation Research Institute's web site, or the Christian Book Distributor's web site.

You should find a wealth of resources at any of these places to start you on a reading journey worth taking.

The first creation science book I ever read, called "The Genesis Flood," by Whitcomb and Morris, changed my entire way of thinking. My old view, which was a skewed mixture of creation and evolution, was based on ignorance, many years of biased teaching, and bad theology.

Praise God for these great "pioneers" who have been willing to put their reputations on the line to defend the truth of the Word of God!

God Bless You!

--FEATURED POEM:

We mutter and splutter, we fume and we spurt,
We mumble and grumble, our feelings get hurt,
We can't understand things, our vision gets dim,
When all that we need is a moment with HIM.

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What were the names of the four rivers that flowed out of Eden?

A. Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel (Tigris), Euphrates

Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.

The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Hiddekel (Tigris); it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

Genesis 2:10-14

Two of these rivers are still well known today, the Tigris and the Euphrates.
