Saturday, March 17, 2012Hello Animal lovers,
Today's issue is a little different...but it's a special one - it's interactive! Now, the clip is only 14 seconds long, but trust me, that's all you need. The clip is simply an agitated frog making a noise... I suppose you could call it a squeal, but with the power of YouTube...this becomes a musical adventure!
For those of you not in the know, if you press one of your number buttons (the top row, not the keypad) on your computer or laptop while a YouTube video is playing, you automatically skip to a percentage of the video. For example, if you press the number 6, you go to the 60% point in the video. Since this video features a frog squealing in every note imaginable (well, most of them at least) when you skip to different sections of the video, you create a musical instrument! Music arrangements are presented as a series of numbers for you to press during the video.
Browse the comments for transcriptions of popular songs like the Star Wars Imperial March (my favorite), Smoke on The Water, People are Strange, and more. Unleash your inner frog-star, and come up with your own melodies.
Pleasant Watching,
-Khalil
