surprise while on vacation in Mexico with her NFL beau
Jay Cutler...
A source close to the couple confirms that Jay proposed
over the weekend during their getaway in Cabo San Lucas.
"He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to
marry him," the source says.
Kristin, 24, who also appeared on The Hills, and Jay, 27,
the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, have been dating
since last fall.
"I'm in love," she said earlier this year, "and it's been
great."

Katie Couric: I Am Leaving CBS Evening News...
After weeks of widespread speculation about her future, Katie
Couric is finally ready to go on the record.
"I have decided to step down from the CBS Evening News,"
Katie says. "I'm really proud of the talented team on the CBS
Evening News and the award-winning work we've been able to do
in the past five years in addition to the reporting I've done
for 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning. In making the decision
to move on, I know the Evening News will be in great hands,
but I am excited about the future."
What's next for the 32-year broadcast veteran? "I am looking
at a format that will allow me to engage in more multi-
dimensional storytelling," she says, adding that other
details, including when and where the show will air, are
"still being discussed."
As she launches the next phase of her career and her new
book, The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary
Lives, she is also juggling exclusive interviews with
astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords,
as well as British Prime Minister David Cameron, and she's
covering the royal wedding.
"The bottom line is that I love doing all kinds of different
stories," says Katie, 54. "I have a lot of areas of interest
and I want to be able to fulfill all of that."

Lady Gaga's backstage meltdown...
Lady Gaga can be seen breaking down in tears as she admits
to feeling like a "loser kid" in an emotional clip from an
upcoming concert documentary.
Gaga weeps openly as she talks about her insecurities while
gazing into a mirror in her dressing room at New York's
Madison Square Garden.
She says, "I was in the worst mood on the way here. I just
get so revved up when I do these benchmark shows you know,
'cause I start to think about all the people that have tried
to stop me... I think about how I don't really give a s**t
if people don't understand what I do as long as my fans
understand.
"I just sometimes feel like a loser still, you know. It's
crazy 'cause it's like we're at the Garden but I still
sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school.
"I gotta (sic) pick myself up and I have to tell myself that
I'm a superstar every morning so that I can get through this
day and be for my fans what they need for me to be. But
sometimes I still feel like people are trying to destroy me.
"I'm fighting for every kid that's like me, that felt like
I felt and feels like I still feel... I just wanna be a
queen for them and sometimes I don't feel like one. It's not
about being a winner for me anymore. It's about being a
winner for all of them."
The footage, filmed in February for an HBO special, also
shows Gaga bowing her head in prayer, asking God, "Please
give me strength to be a winner for all of them and not
myself... Please help me to be strong and know my own
strength. Please help me to be brave, Lord. Dear God, give
me courage. Do not let me give in to my own insecurities."

Katie Price 'lucky' to be alive after crash...
British TV star Katie Price has told of her terror after she
narrowly escaped serious injury when her car crashed into
two horses on Sunday.
Katie was riding in a 4x4 vehicle with her boyfriend Leandro
Penna when a pair of stallions jumped a fence and galloped
into their path on a remote country road in Argentina.
The horses were killed while Katie and Leandro, who was
behind the wheel, both suffered severe whiplash and cuts.
The former model, who is an avid horse rider, insists she is
devastated by the accident and "lucky" to have survived.
Katie says, "It was absolutely terrifying. It all happened
in a flash and I have absolutely no idea how I wasn't badly
injured.
"I feel so lucky, but more than anything, I'm just distraught
about the horses. It was so upsetting."
Katie has been dating Leandro since February and was visiting
his native Argentina to meet his parents, Mercedes and Hector.

Rob Schneider Gets Married...
The Male Gigolo is now an honest man.
Rob Schneider, who stars in the Deuce Bigalow comedies and
shares laughs in many Adam Sandler films, married television
producer Patricia Azarcoya Arce on Saturday in a private
ceremony in Beverly Hills.
"Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and
family; it was the happiest day of my life," says Rob, 47,
in a statement. "We had a great time at the wedding and are
looking forward to our honeymoon."

The King of Queens has his prince.
Kevin James and his wife Steffiana welcomed their first son,
Kannon Valentine James, on Easter Sunday in Boston, his rep
confirms.
Kannon joins big sisters Sienna-Marie, 5, and Shea, 3.
James, 45, starred on the long-running sitcom The King of
Queens and recently appeared in The Dilemma with Vince

It's Hayden Panettiere...
The "Heroes" star got the phrase "live without regrets"
inked on her back, in Italian, to remind herself that
everyone deals with disappointment and rejection.
However, Hayden was shocked to learn the tattoo artist had
made a small yet permanent error.
During an appearance on "The View" on Monday, she says,
"Here's the thing, if you're going to get a tattoo in a
language, just don't ever go to that country. Or a country
where anyone speaks that language...
"It's not like, 'Oh I wanted (this) and now it says, 'I
love apples'. It's 'live without regrets' but it has one
extra 'i' and it's so minor that people who spoke fluent
Italian are like, 'Egh, that looks right.' And of course
I'm reading in a newspaper that it's wrong..."
But Hayden has accepted the minor mistake as a lesson
learned.
She adds, "So you know what, I'm left to live up to what
it means. I'm proud of it!"
