*-- La. Gov. Bobby Jindal: Healthcare.gov symptomatic of bigger problems --*

WASHINGTON - Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said Sunday technical problems with healthcare.gov are "symptomatic of a bigger problem" with the Affordable Care Act.

Glitches in the healthcare.gov website mean many people have been unable to sign up for health insurance through the marketplace. Officials said the website should be in working order by the end of November and that most people should be able to sign up for health insurance by then.

In an appearance on Fox News "Sunday," Jindal said he believes the website will be fixed, but is concerned there will still be problems with President Obama's health care law.

"But let's remember, [the website] is the easy part," Jindal said. "You know, the real critical issue is when it comes time to schedule your grandma's cancer surgery, what's going to happen then? I think this is symptomatic of a bigger problem.

"This is an incompetent rollout, but it's symptomatic of a liberal ideology that believes government should be running our healthcare. So, I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. Eventually, they'll fix the Internet problems."

Jindal predicted more Democrats and Republicans will call for a delay of the individual mandate to carry health insurance as the New Year looms.
