'Concussion' Director Says Film Was Not Altered To Please The NFL...
Director Peter Landesman insists neither he nor Sony Pictures changed the sports-injury drama Concussion because they feared the wrath of the National Football League.

Set for theatrical release Dec. 25, the film is based on the GQ magazine article "Game Brain" by Jeanne Marie Laskas. Will Smith plays Dr. Bennet Omalu, who studies the brains of ex-professional football players and discovers they are suffering from a neuro-degenerative disease caused by repeated trauma to the head.

The New York Times cited in a report this week emails obtained and released illegally in the infamous 2014 Sony computer hack that suggested the film was altered to appease the powerful football organization.

However, Landesman disputed the account.

"We don't want to give the NFL a toehold to say, 'They are making it up,' and damage the credibility of the movie," Landesman told The Times about decisions made during the production.

"There were things that might have been creatively fun to have actors say that might not have been accurate in the heads of the NFL or doctors. We might have gotten away with it legally, but it might have damaged our integrity as filmmakers. We didn't have a need to make up anything because it was powerful and revelatory on its own," he emphasized. "There was never an instance where we compromised the storytelling to protect ourselves from the NFL."

Jessa Duggar Publicly Turns Back On Brother Josh Amid Cheating Scandal...
Jessa Duggar has publicly distanced herself from troubled brother Josh Duggar for the first time since multiple scandals have surfaced involving the Duggar family.

Jessa shared on her Facebook page on Tuesday a blog post written by her father-in-law Michael Seewald criticizing Josh for his recent Ashley Madison infidelity scandal. Husband Ben Seewald followed suit by tweeting out the hard-hitting piece that refers to Josh as a "hypocritical Christian."

"It distressed me to say that Josh Duggar's greatest sin is a byproduct of the sum total of his secretly sinful lifestyle," Seewald wrote on his blog. "That is, that by his hypocrisy, he blasphemed the name of God. He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise."

"With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil," Seewald wrote. "While proudly saying things like, 'Our family is like the epitome of conservative values,' he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs ... undermining his own family by violating the traditional marriage covenant."

Previously Jessa stood by her brother seemingly showing support in August when she took to Instagram to preach forgiveness with a photo of an underlined Bible passage entitled "Walk in the Light." In June, she told Fox News she and the family had moved on after she and sister Jill were molested by Josh as girls when he was a teenager.

"Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls," Jessa said to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. "And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild - inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while [the] girls were sleeping."

Jessa and sister Jill recently addressed the sexual abuse scandal in the TLC documentary Breaking the Silence on Sunday.

Liam Hemsworth Jabs Miss Piggy's ex, Kermit, on Instagram...
Liam Hemsworth's first Instagram photo features himself flirting with Miss Piggy after news of her split with Kermit the Frog.

The Hunger Games star joins the ranks of Reese Witherspoon, Elizabeth Banks and Imagine Dragons as guest stars on the new, mature revamp of The Muppets, but not before joining even more stars on popular social media site Instagram.

"Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world," Hemsworth wrote on his Insta-debut. "Kermit, #SorryNotSorry."

Hemsworth will play himself on the ABC primetime show, which follows the everyday lives of the Muppets as they navigate through their love lives, friendships and work in the city.

After their meeting, Miss Piggy took to Twitter to gush over Thor's younger brother. "Loved @LiamHemsworth, our latest guest coming to #TheMuppets," the famous Muppet wrote. "Although, I had to explain that hunger is NEVER a game!"

Kermit the Frog announced his split from longtime partner Miss Piggy in early August, saying after "considerable romantic squabbling," he and the famous fashionista decided to break up.

"We will continue to work together on television (The Muppets/Tuesdays 8pm this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe," he said.

The Muppets is scheduled to premier Tuesday, Sept. 22 on ABC.

??? Guess Who ???

The actor who escaped a terrifying fire at his apartment block in New York City?

It's Dylan Baker... he was at home when a blaze broke out at the building in Manhattan, and he managed to get his family out before the flames spread from a neighbor's apartment.

Reports suggest Baker attempted to rescue a female resident, but was pushed back by smoke. The woman was later found by firefighters and admitted to a local hospital in a serious condition, according to the New York Daily News.

Emergency services managed to extinguish the fire within 30 minutes
