2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us
in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort
those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which
we ourselves are comforted by God.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Matthew 5:45 states, "He makes His sun rise on the evil
and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the
unjust." In this context, rain is a blessing, but does
this truth not apply when there is too much rain, also?
Something to think about when asking, "How can God let
this happen to Christians?"

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Present suffering is not enjoyable, but life would be worth
little without it. The difference between iron and steel is
fire, but steel is worth all it costs.

--FEATURED POEM:

Is there a heart o'er bound by sorrow?
Is there a life weighed down by care?
Come to the cross each burden bearing,
All your anxiety leave it there.

No other friend so keen to help you,
No other friend so quick to hear;
No other place to leave your burden,
No other one to hear your prayer.
