Hi Everyone,
In last Thursday's issue of Handy Hints I mentioned in my first hint about using coffee filters to make an air freshener. Here's what I wrote: Use a coffee filter to make an air freshener. Simply place a tablespoon of baking soda in the center of the coffee filter and tie it closed with a piece of twine or a rubber band. You can stash these little packets in the fridge to absorb odors, in closets, or in drawers.
This weekend I'm going to try this, but instead of using baking soda I'm going to use bath salts (which are scented). I'll let you guys know how it turns out :)
I got flooded with emails about nto using the bath salts because it could get into the food in the refrigerator. When I said I was going to use bath salts instead of baking soda, I wasn't going to use that for my refrigerator. I was intending to use those for the drawers, but I forgot to complete my thought.

Hint 1:
For more effective dishwashing, add a few tablespoons of vinegar along with the dishwashing detergent when washing dishes. The vinegar cuts the grease and leaves dishes sparkling.
Hint 2:
To clean up spills in your oven, sprinkle the spills immediately with salt. When the oven has cooled, brush away the burnt-on food with a damp sponge. | To continue to receive Deals, add
