Friday, May 15, 2015Good morning crew,
Today is payday. That's good timing because I may have to do a bit of shopping tomorrow. About a month ago I invited a small army of people over for this weekend to attend the inaugural barbecue at the new house. Unfortunately, with the roof collapsing I haven't been able to make any preparations.
I don't have any food, I don't have any alcohol, I don't have any pop, snacks, plates, plasticware, napkins, cups, ice, or condiments. I don't even have a barbecue grill. And after paying thousands of dollars for a new roof I don't have any money either.
But I may actually get lucky. I have been watching the weather and the chance of thunderstorms has been steadily increasing since last night, so the barbecue might get rained out anyway.
At least if I have a bunch of people sitting in the house with no food the roof won't be leaking on them.
I hope.
Laugh it up,
Joe

"Doctor, what's wrong with my wife!" I cried.
"It's perfectly normal," he reassured me, "She's just having her contractions."
