Good morning crew,
I received a pair of blue jeans for Christmas and this
morning was the first time I put them on. Well, 'put them on'
might be an overly generous way of describing it. Cramming
myself forcibly into them would probably be more accurate.
By the time I got the top button buttoned I was breathing
heavily. What the heck was going on?! With a little twisting
I was able to read the lable on the back and they are the
exact same size pants that I have been wearing for the past
three years.
Had the designer or manufacturer mismeasured or mislabled
the product so the pants were actually smaller than indicated?
Possible, but not likely. That could leave only one other
option...my new laundry detergent is shrinking my clothes!
Ah, who am I kidding? I'm putting on weight like a bear before
hibernation. It's all of this rich living. Well, as difficult
as it's going to be I have to start making some dietary
adjustments in the new year.
Now, let's see...what has a lot of calories that is not an
essential part of a healthy daily diet? Hmmm...I'll think
about it tonight while I'm drinking beer and champagne.
