'The Sound of Music' DVD/ Blu-ray Combo

The film is set in Austria during the late 1930's. The cen-
tral character is Maria (Julie Andrews), who is preparing
to become a nun when the movie opens. However, her suitabil-
ity for that vocation is questionable, and she goes to work
for a widower, Captain von Trapp (Christopher Plummer), as
the governess of his seven children. Maria comes to love
the kids and the Captain, but he is already far along in
his plans to marry a wealthy aristocrat. A more serious
complication is the rise to power of the Nazis, who finalize
their control of Austria when it becomes part of Germany in
the 1938 event known as the Anschluss.

'Toy Story 3' DVD

This computer-animated film is the follow-up to Toy Story
(1995) and Toy Story 2 (1999). The major characters are back,
including Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice
of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and Mr. and
Mrs. Potato Head (voices of Don Rickles and Estelle Harris).
An important new character is Lots-o'-Huggin'-Bear ? Lotso
for short ? voiced by Ned Beatty. This time around, Andy is
17 years old, and his toys, except for Woody, end up being
donated to Sunnyside Daycare, where they are abused. Soon
Woody sets out to rescue his old friends.

'Winnebago Man' DVD

This documentary is about Ben Steinbauer's search for and
encounter with Jack Rebney, a man familiar to the millions
of people who have viewed "Winnebago Man" on YouTube. The
YouTube footage comes from an industrial video for recre-
ational vehicles that Rebney shot back in the late 1980s.
He swears a lot in the video, and it is hilarious. Steinbauer
tracks down Rebney when he is in his mid-70s and living in a
remote part of northern California. The former RV pitchman
turns out to be a curmudgeonly old guy, but it all ends up
at the Found Footage Festival in San Francisco.
