Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

As we end this week right before Christmas, I would like to share with you the thoughts of Francis J. Spellman. "Holiday and holy day, Christmas is more than a yule log, holly, or tree. It is more than natural good cheer and the giving of gifts. Christmas is even more than the feast of the home and of children, the feast of love and friendship. It is more than all of these together. Christmas is Christ, the Christ of Justice and charity, of freedom and peace."

We can celebrate this Christmas every day of the year!

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Christmas is based on an exchange of gifts; the gift of God to man--His Son; and the gift of man to God when...we first give ourselves to God.

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. In 1 Corinthians 15, we are told that the sting of death is sin. What is the strength of sin?

A. The law.

"O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
