Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

As we approach Christmas, there are always questions surrounding the traditions. "Is it wrong to celebrate Christmas? I was told that it is pagan." "Should I teach my children about Santa Claus?" "Should I have a Christmas tree?"

The structure of "Positive, Encouraging & Inspirational Messages" does not allow me fully to address these issues, but hopefully I can give you enough guidance, that you, (with the help of the Holy Spirit), can find the answers yourself. And, as always, I will not tell you what to do. God will show you, if you ask Him.

I will attempt to address some of these issues. Firstly, the Bible specifically does NOT tell us the date of Jesus' birth. We do know that the shepherds were out in the fields with their flocks at night. There is nothing in the Bible about celebrating December 25.

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

The coming of Christ by way of a Bethlehem manger seems strange and stunning. But when we take Him out of the manger and invite Him into our hearts, then the meaning unfolds and the strangeness vanishes.
