Hello Everyone,

Is everyone done with their Christmas shopping? I am, thank goodness! I couldn't imagine still having to go out and fight the crowds. Not that I did much of that this year anyways. This year I did 90% of my shopping online, and everything came in the mail last Thursday. I loved my experience this year shopping online - some sites offer free shipping, some you don't pay taxes, and they have the same stuff (if not more) than the local stores. How much did you shop online this year?

Hint 1: I love wrapping gifts whether it's for Christmas or for another special holiday. And when I wrap I try to get creative with my gift wrapping skills...here's two tip on
how to make your gift extra special :)

Wrap gift in Silver gift wrap paper and tie a thick white ribbon around the gift. Add a snowflake ornament to the top of this gift.

The Nutcracker ballet is always popular at holiday time! Wrap gift in paper covered with images of candy and tie with a thick red ribbon. Add a small nutcracker or Nutcracker ornament to the top of this gift.

Hint 2: Here are some fun and frugal activities to do while the kids are on Christmas break...(I'll also feature more in tomorrows issue)

Go to the park and feed the ducks. Bundle up and take along some stale bread, rolls (leftover from Christmas dinner) or crackers. The kids will love it and the ducks will be glad to see you!

Gather blank paper, stickers, markers, rubber stamps, etc.and let the kids make their own stationery for writing
thank-you notes.
