Ocean and Brown brawl outside LA studio

Frank Ocean told police Chris Brown punched him during a group argument over a parking spot outside a Los Angeles- rea recording studio, TMZ reported. Six people, including the two recording artists, were involved in the fight Sunday night at Westlake Studio. Police were called to the scene to break it up, but no arrests have been made. When they arrived, investigators spoke to Ocean, but Brown was already gone, TMZ said. The celebrity news website cited unnamed sources close to Brown as saying Ocean and his entourage started the argument by blocking Brown's car when he was trying to leave. The witnesses said one of Ocean's friends attacked Brown when he attempted to shake the hand of his fellow singer, then one of Brown's companions hit Ocean's friend in retaliation. Ocean then attacked Brown and a brawl erupted, TMZ said. Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting and threatening his then-girlfriend Rihanna during a heated argument in a car in 2009. He was placed on five years probation and ordered to complete community service. He and Rihanna recently reconciled. Last year, he and Canadian singer Drake had an altercation at a New York nightclub, which left eight people injured. No arrests were made.

Liberty Ross, Rupert Sanders divorcing

British model Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from film director Rupert Sanders, her husband of 10 years, legal documents filed in Los Angeles show. Ross, 34, filed the divorce papers Friday, months after her husband, 41, was photographed in a steamy embrace with actress Kristen Stewart, the 22-year-old star of his movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman." Ross appeared in the big-screen fairy tale as the mother of a younger version of Stewart's Snow White character. Both Sanders and Stewart apologized publicly for their affair and insisted it was over. "This was a long time coming," UsMagazine.com quoted a source close to Ross and Sanders as saying about Ross' divorce filing. The insider said Sanders "did want to try to repair the relationship and didn't want a divorce." However, a second person with knowledge of the situation told the magazine Ross was too upset to forgive and forget. The couple have two children together -- Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5. Stewart and her longtime beau, actor Robert Pattinson, broke up briefly after the affair, but have reconciled.

Jennifer Lawrence has pneumonia

Jennifer Lawrence was too ill to accept an award from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, a "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star said. The Golden Globe winner was not on hand when it was announced she won best actress at the ceremony Saturday, and her co-star, Jacki Weaver, accepted on her behalf, the New York Daily News reported. "I am going to accept this award on behalf of Jennifer," said Weaver, who is nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar. "She really wishes she could be here, but she is very ill." Weaver told the audience at the Soho House in Hollywood that Lawrence, 22, was suffering from pneumonia, which has caused her to be too sick to attend several awards ceremonies recently, the newspaper said. Weaver read Lawrence's acceptance speech, which expressed her gratitude and her interest in traveling to Australia one day to visit the Sydney Opera House. Lawrence is also a front-runner for the best actress category at the Academy Awards ceremony on Feb. 24.
