Chris Brown on Rihanna split: I can't be focused on wife-ing someone

U.S. recording star Chris Brown has confirmed he and his girlfriend Rihanna have broken up again. "Imma do it solo," the 24-year-old singer said during a radio interview on Australia's "The Kyle and Jackie Show." "I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward," he said. "I'm always gonna love that person. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be." Brown and Rihanna, 25, have been dating on and off for about five years. Brown was ordered to complete 180 days of community service as part of a plea deal stemming from his 2009 assault of Rihanna, authorities said. He was also placed on probation for five years and ordered to attend an anger-management program. Brown and Rihanna confirmed last year they had reconciled after their headline-grabbing altercation.

Timberlake to start world concert tour Oct. 31 in Montreal

Pop star Justin Timberlake said Monday he will kick off his "20/20 Experience World Tour" Oct. 31 in Montreal. The artist's first concert series in six years is to run through 2014 and will include stops in dozens of countries throughout North America, Europe, South America and Australia. Timberlake also announced Monday the follow-up to his current hit album, "The 20/20 Experience," will be released Sept. 30.

Brooke Mueller receiving treatment at UCLA Medical Center

Brooke Mueller, actor Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, is receiving medical care at California's UCLA Medical Center, then will go to rehab, her publicist said. Media reports last week said Mueller and Sheen's 4-year-old twin sons had been removed by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family services and placed with Sheen's other ex-wife, actress Denise Richards. Various reports said Mueller was seeking help for drug addiction and/or psychiatric issues. "Despite reports to the contrary, Brooke is currently at UCLA Medical Center where she has been since being admitted May 3," Mueller's representative told Us Weekly Monday. "Brooke will be [at UCLA Medical Center] for several more days, and will likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse," the publicist said. "Brooke misses her children, and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom." The publicist did not say what exactly led to the hospitalization.


Actress Amanda Bynes says she had a nose job

U.S. actress Amanda Bynes said via Twitter she is so happy with her nose job she doesn't want the media to use photos of her from before she had it. Bynes, 27, was the star of TV's "The Amanda Show" and "What I Like About You," as well as the films "What A Girl Wants" and "Hairspray." However, for the past year or so she has been better known for her erratic behavior, driving mishaps and Twitter rants than her acting. In a tweet Sunday, Bynes said she had had plastic surgery, although she didn't say exactly when she had the procedure. "I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes," she wrote. "I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!" She went on to say her new look was the "most amazing thing for my confidence!"

Rapper-actress Lauryn Hill, sentenced to jail Monday in New Jersey for evading federal taxes, likened having to pay taxes to slavery. A judge in Newark ordered up three months of jail time, three more months of home detention and nine months of supervised release for Hill, a 37-year-old native of South Orange, N.J., who gained fame for her role in "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" and as front woman of the hip-hop group Fugees. Hill delivered her perspective on her situation in a statement to the judge, entertainment news website TMZ reported. "I was put into a system I didn't know the nature of. ... I'm a child of former slaves," Hill said. "I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me. "I sold 50 million units ... now I'm up here paying a tax debt. If that's not likened to slavery, I don't know what is." TMZ said before her sentencing hearing Hill's attorney told reporters Hill had come up with nearly $1 million to her tax debt. The defense attorney also sought leniency because Hill has six children and does charity work, TMZ said. Hill pleaded guilty last year to three counts of tax evasion for failing to file returns on $1.8 million she earned from 2005 to 2007. Hill is to report to prison by July 8. TMZ said it wasn't clear where Hill will be incarcerated.
