During "A Day of Hot Topics" on The View, Barbara Walters
had one of her own to discuss, her upcoming heart surgery.
"Later this week, I'm going to have surgery to replace one
faulty heart valve," Barbara said, opening the show with news,
which she had only revealed to her cohosts that morning.
"You kept it secret very well, Barbara," Joy Behar said, and
Barbara explained, "I thought it best not to talk about it
too far in advance."
She added "you know how healthy I have been, never missed a
day's work, said that she has "known of this condition for a
while now," and she and her doctors agreed, "Since the summer
is coming up, I can take a nice vacation." Recovery can be
anywhere from a month to three months, she said.

Heidi Klum and Seal Renew Their Wedding Vows...
Keeping with tradition, Heidi Klum and Seal celebrated their
fifth wedding anniversary on Saturday by renewing their vows
in front of their children and a few close family members at
sunset on a beach in Costa Careyes, Mexico.
After the ceremony, about 80 guests joined the happy couple
at their home for an outdoor reception under a palapa, an
open-air, thatched-roof hut, decorated with dozens of
chandeliers, thousands of candles and all white flowers.
Contrary to last year's retro-themed celebration, this year's
theme was a bit more traditional: guests dressed in white and
black as brides and grooms.
"They wanted it to feel like a real wedding, but still have a
theme," a close source said of their celebration.
The fun began Friday night with dinner and a karaoke party.
The source says both Hedi and Seal sang for their guests,
who were invited to the posh Mexican beach town by a tiered
wedding cake-shaped invitation with bobble heads inside of
the whole family, designed by invitation company Lehr & Black.
The sentiment? "Five years: Piece of cake!"

McGraw & Hill Hosting Concert for Nashville Flood Victims...
On June 22, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are hosting a benefit
concert for Nashville flood victims, they announced Monday.
"Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery," which will take place at
Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, will feature performances by the
two, as well as Miley Cyrus, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, LeAnn
Rimes, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.
"The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect
that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable,"
the two said in a statement. "But we've seen the spirit of
our community first hand, as volunteers, church groups and
our local business leaders rally to help. We all need to
continue to support those in need in anyway that we can, and
for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of
the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes,
who collectively, will make June 22nd a truly special night."
The two recently surveyed the staggering damage done by recent
floods. "I'm just kind of in shock right now," Faith says.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy Welcome a Baby Girl...
Just in time for Mother's Day, Bethenny Frankel is a new mom!
The Real Housewives of New York City star and her husband Jason
Hoppy welcomed a baby girl Saturday, her rep confirms.
"Bethenny and Jason are proud to welcome their new baby girl,
Bryn Hoppy, born at 8 a.m. . . . in New York City," the rep
says. "She is a 4 lb. 12 oz., healthy baby. Bryn, mom, dad and
[their dog] Cookie are all very happy."
Bethenny and jason, who were married March 28, were surprised
to know the baby's sex. "Jason won't let me find out because
he knows I'll spoil it," Bethenny said in an interview about
her pregnancy.
She did, however, Tweet, "I had a dream it was a girl."
So, it seems, dreams do come true!

'Sex and the City' stars confirm on set bust-ups...
"Sex and the City" stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall
and Cynthia Nixon have opened up about their rivalry,
confirming longstanding rumors they frequently argue on set,
but insisting they are still friends.
The leading actresses of the hit show have faced reports they
don't get along, with Cattrall and Parker at the center of
speculation about a rift.
The stars have previously brushed off the rumors, claiming
they are pals who maintain a professional working relationship.
But now the leading ladies have opened up about their struggles
in an interview with Marie Claire magazine, admitting they
often clash when they're stressed and tired during the long
working days.
Parker says, "When you're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks,
you're never home, you're exhausted. There are times when all
of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt. But
I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."
Nixon adds, "It hasn't always been smooth sailing. But the idea
that we're somehow adversarial is ludicrous."
And Cattrall insists despite their occasional bickering, they
make jokes to lighten the mood: "Nineteen-hour workdays are
stressful, whether you're driving a truck, working in a coal
mine or on a set and trying to be your brightest at 4 o'clock
in the morning. But there's a camaraderie that happened
through all of that... The chemistry among the four of us is
very strong."

Did Pattinson and Stewart Tell Oprah They're Dating...
If there's someone who can get people to open up about their
private lives, it's Oprah. And looks like the talk show queen
has done it again, although this time it all went down when
the cameras weren't rolling.
Before sitting down with the cast of The Twilight Saga this
week for the show, Oprah and the gang reportedly went over the
questions she was going to ask them.
Knowing she had to "go there," she asked Robert and Kristen if
they are indeed dating as blogs have been speculating for
months. Oprah told the two she wouldn't press too hard on the
dating question during the interview as long as "they told her
off camera what was really going on."
"Both Rob and Kristen's people and Summit [Entertainment] then
confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are
dating," says a source who was at the taping of the episode,
set to air May 13. "One hundred percent."
When Oprah asked the question, Rob and Kristen, who said she'll
never discuss her love life, "could totally give the coy
nonanswer answer (Rob joked Kristen was pregnant, Kristen joked
Rob was having the baby)," adds the source, "and Oprah wouldn't
press it too hard on air.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Tie the Knot ? Again!
Trouble in paradise? Hardly.
Tori Spelling began the day by Tweeting, "Beautiful day to
remarry ;)" ? and on Saturday evening, she ended it by doing
just that.
During a ceremony at a private home overlooking Beverly Hills,
Dean gave Tori a custom designed Darkened Diamond Eternity
Band by Neil Lane as the couple renewed their wedding vows.
The bride wore a white, strapless gown with an open back and
kissed her husband passionately after the short ceremony,
according to a source.
In contrast to their Fiji-set wedding four years ago, attended
by only the barefoot bride and groom and a non-denominational
officiator, the couple declared their love in the company of
close friends and family, including son Liam, 3, and daughter
Stella, 23 months.
After rumors of trouble in their marriage, Tori put them to
rest when she told Ellen DeGeneres, "There is no divorce in
our future, at all."

It's Jake Gyllenhaal...
"They would say, 'Don't make any noise around the ostriches.
They'll tear out your eyes and rip out your heart.' So, I
was naturally terrified," Jake said with a laugh at Sunday's
London premiere of the movie, which opens May 28 in the U.S.
"They look like they're innocent, but they're really not."
Jake's costar, Gemma Arterton, can attest to his level of fear.
"He was really scared," she said. "He ran away, and the look
on his face ? it's not acting. It's real."
