Catherine Zeta-Jones completes treatment for bipolar disorder

Hollywood actor Michael Douglas says his film star wife, Catherine-Zeta-Jones, has completed her in-patient treatment for bipolar II disorder. "She comes home tomorrow," Douglas told People.com Monday. "She's doing a really good job of getting balanced. I'm proud of her." The 43-year-old "Chicago" Oscar winner entered treatment last month. A friend told People.com in April the timing was right for Zeta-Jones to check in for what had always been part of her plan to monitor her mental health. "This was just a good time to do it. She is in between projects," the friend said, adding Zeta-Jones is "vigilant" about managing her health. Zeta-Jones announced in 2011 she had the bipolar spectrum disorder, which manifests in abnormally elevated or depressed moods. She said she'd been treated at a mental-health facility in Connecticut but she told ABC's "Good Morning America" in December she was "sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this."

Jay-Z says wife Beyonce isn't pregnant with second child

U.S. hip-hop mogul Jay-Z says his wife Beyonce is not pregnant with their second child, despite persistent rumors claiming she is. "The pregnancy rumor is false," UsMagazine.com reported the rapper told New York's Hot 97 radio station via email. "I hit him to say congratulations, send my love to the fam," program director Ebro Darden said, noting Jay-Z replied and set him straight, insisting, "It's not true." The baby buzz started when Beyonce said in a recent television interview she wants her 15-month-old daughter Blue Ivy to have siblings. The rumor gained more traction after the pop star was photographed wearing clothing that camouflaged her mid-section, then canceled a concert due to exhaustion and dehydration.

New animated 'Star Wars' TV series on the way

Production has begun on "Star Wars Rebels," an animated television series to premiere in fall 2014 on America's Disney Channel, producers said Monday. The show's initial 1-hour special telecast will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world. "The entire team at Lucasfilm has provided extraordinary creativity and innovation for over three decades, and we're thrilled to be bringing the expansive and imaginative world of 'Star Wars' to Disney XD's viewers," Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, said in a statement Monday. "I couldn't be more excited to explore new corners of the 'Star Wars' universe," said Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm. "I think 'Star Wars Rebels' will capture the look, feel and fun that both kids and their parents love about 'Star Wars.'" Lucasfilm said the series is set between the events of "Star Wars" Episodes III and IV, but details about the show are "a closely guarded secret at this point."

Fox confirms Rubio and Rowland will be 'X Factor' judges

Fox says singers Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio will join Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato at the judges' table for Season 3 of the U.S. version of "The X Factor." Rowland and Rubio will replace outgoing panelists Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. "It's taken more than a decade but I'm delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls [I think!,]" Cowell, who is also an executive producer on the show, said in a statement Monday. "Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different."
