Here's the Scoop....
AT&T announced Thursday that it is ending its endorsement deal
with the scandal-ridden Tiger Woods, even though the "multi-
year" contract was only signed in early 2009. An AT&T logo had
appeared on Tiger's golf bag, and he and the company had several
links through his charitable foundation and AT&T-branded
golf tournaments.
Accenture and Gillette have already ended their endorsements
with Tiger. Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer said earlier this month
that it plans to continue its partnership with him but will
"downscale" its presence.

Matthew McConaughey Welcomes Baby Girl...
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed their second
child, a baby girl.
He announced on his website Sunday: "Happy New Year everybody!!! =
On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13am, Camila gave birth to a healthy
7lb. 7oz. baby girl named "Vida Alves McConaughey".... Vida is
Portuguese for "life" and that's what God gave us this morning...

Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to
welcome this little lady into our family... thanks for all your
well wishes and prayers along the way. another blessed day. we
give thanks. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila"
On Dec. 28, Matthew's mother Kay gushed: "We have no idea when
the baby is coming! The baby could come literally any minute.
We are all waiting and very excited!"
Less than a year after the birth of their first son Levi,
Matthew, announced this past June that he and his girlfriend
were expecting again.
"We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time,"
Matthew wrote on his website at the time. "The future looks
bright as the family grows."

American Idol's Jason Castro Marries in Texas...
Jason Castro is a married man, according to tweets from guests
at his wedding Saturday.
The 22-year-old dreadlocked singer-songwriter, who finished
fourth on Season 7 of American Idol, wed girlfriend Mandy
Mayhall in his hometown near Dallas.
"Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams," he tweeteed Sunday.
"It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!! :)"=
Earlier this week, Jason enjoyed a bachelor party complete with
bowling, poker and pool, according to his own posts.
The couple confirmed their engagement in November. Jason
reportedly proposed on Halloween while the two were dressed
as characters from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
On Jan. 12, Jason will release The Love Uncompromised EP on
Atlantic Records, followed by a full-length album in the
spring. After spending some time with his new bride, he'll
kick off a tour later this month.

Mike Tyson Won't Be Prosecuted for LAX Scuffle
Mike Tyson will be starting 2010 on a good note: Los Angeles
prosecutors declined to file charges against the boxer after
he allegedly punched a photographer at L.A. International
Airport last month.
"After a full and thorough review, we've decided not to file
charges against either party due to insufficient evidence,"
L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said Thursday.
Mike's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley stated that the
photographer had "aggressively approached" the boxer and his
family by "provoking and harassing them," and at one point
bumped into a baby stroller carrying Mike's 10-month-old
baby daughter.
The photographer, Tony Echevarria, 50, denied he was being
aggressive. "I was shooting from a distance, and I was
respectful," he said.

Elton John Says He's Helping Eminem Fight Drug Use...
Elton John is there for Eminem, who is battling a drug problem.
"I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's
doing brilliantly," John says.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 in the U.K. on Saturday, Sir Elton, 62,
who has freely spoken about his own past issues with substance
abuse, said: "I'm there if people want my help. If people ask
for help you tell them where to go but there's no point
advising people if they don't want to do it."
In May, Eminem admitted he'd suffered from a devastating drug
addiction that led to him downing as many as 20 Vicodin,
Ambien and Valium in a day.
"The numbers got so high," he said, "I don't even know what I
was taking.
Following his first stint in rehab in 2005, Eminem, said he
nearly overdosed after an acquaintance gave him unidentified
blue pills, which a doctor later told him were actually methadone.

"I feel proud, very proud," Shania said. "It's a highlight of
my life to be able to carry the flame, to light the cauldron."
Shania, who was thoroughly bundled up for the 16-below-zero
conditions, noted that the weather is a given in her hometown.
"I know that sounds crazy, but it wouldn't be Timmins if it
wasn't 40 below with the wind chill factor!" she said.
The torch's trek began Oct. 30 and will continue until it reaches
its final destination ? Vancouver ? on Feb. 12 for the 2010
Winter Olympic Games. Coverage of the event will air on NBC
through Feb. 28.
