Time to walk the plank, Hugh Jackman! Johnny Depp is
reclaiming the throne as People's Sexiest Man Alive.
Johnny previously earned the title in 2003, and he joins
Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the two-timers club.
Other honorees on this year's list include actors Ryan
Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Gilles Marini, the men of Glee
and American Idol finalist Adam Lambert.

Aaron Carter Owes More Than $1 Million in Taxes...
The U.S. government is not happy with Aaron Carter.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant owes a whopping
$1,010,635.08 in back taxes going back to 2003, L.A. County
records show.
"We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it
remains unpaid," the papers state.
A rep for Aaron, wasn't immediately available for comment.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Rushed To The Hospital...
As we first mentioned last month, Andrew Lloyd Webber has been
diagnosed with prostate cancer and, luckily for him, they
caught it early enough and he underwent surgery to remove his
prostate 3 weeks ago.
But on Tuesday night the musical genius was rushed to the
hospital after developing a postoperative infection.
A statement was posted on the composer's website saying:
"Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation
for prostate cancer. He has been advised that while the operation
was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative
?chronic infection? which needs immediate treatment."
A friend close to Andrew says the medical problem "is not too
serious" and all Webber wants to do is get back home.
Let's hope for a speedy recovery!

Miley Cyrus: Twilight Bites...
As the alter ego of the fictional Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus
is no stranger to pop trends and scarcely believable

Cruz Dodges Engagement Questions...
Ever since Penélope Cruz wore a sapphire-and-diamond sparkler
on her ring finger at the October premiere of Broken Embraces,
buzz has mounted that the actress is engaged to actor Javier
Bardem.
It's a question she just won't answer, no matter how hard
she's pushed. During her Late Show appearance, airing Tuesday
night, David Letterman asked Penelope, point-blank if she's
engaged to Javier. "I don't feel comfortable talking about my
private life in public," she said, laughing.
David pressed and Penelope continued, "I've been here a few
times with you, you know I'm tough. One thing I don't do, I
don't lie about my personal life," she said. "It's sacred to
me. It's my life. But I don't give details about it because
I am allergic to that."

Jennifer Hudson to Play Controversial South African Figure...
She can do a diva with a dream deferred, now can she portray
the mother of a nation?
Jennifer Hudson is set to play Winnie Mandela in Winnie, a movie
about former South African president Nelson Mandela's powerful
apartheid-busting but disgraced ex-wife that will begin filming
May 30.
"I was compelled and moved when I read the script," Jennifer
tellsVariety. "Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary
woman, and I'm honored to be the actress asked to portray her.
This is a powerful part of history that should be told."
Though Winnie Mandela took the lead against apartheid while her
husband languished in prison, she was a controversial figure
who was arrested and convicted in 1991 in connection with the
murder of a 14-year-old government informant. In 2003, she was
found guilty of fraud and theft of money from a funeral fund.
The biopic will be the latest in what may be shaping up to be
a Mandela trend: Morgan Freeman will play South Africa's first
black president in Clint Eastwood's Invictus, opening Dec. 11
and also starring Matt Damon.

Radcliffe Gets the Twilight Treatment on The Simpsons...
Harry Potter is trading in his wand for fangs.
Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard in the Harry Potter
franchise, will lend his voice to an episode of The Simpsons
for a Twilight spoof.
Executive producer Al Jean said that Danielwill play Edmund, a
young vampire that captures Lisa's heart. But Homer and Edmund's
father, Dracula, try to break up the romance.
"Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons," said Jean. "And
we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry
Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books."

Gerard has been rumored to be dating several leading ladies over
the last few months, including Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz,
Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan.
But Gerard took his mom as his date to the premiere of his
latest movie, "Law Abiding Citizen," in Glasgow, Scotland, on
Sunday, to silence any further gossip.
And he admits he finds the constant rumors hilarious, because
he's been involved with unnamed women away from the spotlight.
He says, "Even if it's (the) early stage of you dating somebody,
or even if it's a friend that's a girl and you go, 'Hell,
(I'll) take her down the red carpet', it's not worth it. It's
getting ridiculous, I just haven't got the time. In actual fact,
the crazy thing is I've had a couple of relationships during
this time that nobody knew about, meanwhile they're (the press
are) speculating about people that I've got nothing going on
with, so it's been quite funny."
