Here's the Scoop....

If seeing the cast of "The Sound of Music" reunited on national
TV is one of your dreams, well... Oprah Winfrey is going to
make another one of your dreams come true.

Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer will join fellow "Music"
stars Charmian Carr (Liesl), Nicholas Hammond (Friedrich),
Heather Menzies-Urich (Louisa), Duane Chase (Kurt), Angela
Cartwright (Brigitta), Debbie Turner (Marta) and Kym Karath
(Gretl) on Winfrey's show on October 29, 2010.

It's been 45 years since the cast had such a reunion, and they
plan on dishing about behind-the-scenes dirt from the "Music"
set and what they've been up to since their Oscar-winning
movie was released.

Plus, the Von Trapp Children, a singing group that features
some of the actual members of the von Trapp family, will be
on hand to showcase their pipes in a tribute to the family-
favorite film and its stars.

Upset Stomach Grounds Jimmy Carter ? in Hospital...

Former President Jimmy Carter is "resting comfortably" in
Cleveland's Metro Health Hospital with an upset stomach, says a
rep, after he felt ill aboard a flight to the Ohio city Tuesday.

Jackie Mayo, public information officer for Cleveland Hopkins
International Airport, said the 39th president was transferred
to Metro Health Hospital at around 11:30 a.m. ET after paramedics
met Jimmy's plane upon its arrival.

"While on a flight to Cleveland, former U.S. President Jimmy
Carter developed an upset stomach, and, upon arrival, was taken
to Metro Health Hospital for observation," said a statement from
Carter Center spokeswoman Deanna Congileo. "He is resting
comfortably and is expected to resume his book tour this week."

Last week, Jimmy, 85, appeared on the Today show, promoting his
latest book, his 23rd, White House Diary. He looked to be in good
health. Local Midwestern TV stations report that he was due for a
book singing in Cleveland Tuesday afternoon.

In 2002, Jimmy was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for
his efforts "to find peaceful solutions to international
conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote
economic and social development," said the prize committee.

George Lopez and Wife End 17-Year Marriage...

George Lopez and his wife have decided to part ways.

"George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17-year
marriage," a rep for the Lopez Tonight host says. "The decision
is amicable and by mutual agreement."

The couple wed in 1993. They have one child together.

"They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business
and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation,"the
rep says.

In 2005, Ann famously donated her kidney to her husband. Crediting
her for giving him life, George said, "I can't pay her back, but
what I can do is make her as happy asshe thought I would when we
first got married."

Sally Menke, Tarantino's editor, found dead on hiking trail...

Sally Menke, the editor of director Quentin Tarantino's films,
was found dead along a Los Angeles hiking trail early Tuesday,
according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's spokeswoman.

Police discovered Sally's body in Griffith Park after a late
night search using bloodhounds and a helicopter, a police
spokeswoman said.

Sally, 57, was apparently hiking with a friend on the hottest
day ever recorded in Los Angeles since the National Weather
Service starting keep records 133 years ago. Thermometers
recorded a high of 113 degrees in downtown Los Angeles Monday
afternoon, the weather service said.

Sally became separated from her friend, who was walking a dog,
according to police spokesman Richard French. The friend called
police when she could not locate her at the end of the hike
early Monday evening, French said.

Heat may not have been the only factor in Sally's death, said
coroner spokesman Lt. Cheryl MacWillie. An autopsy will
determine if she had a pre-existing condition that led to her
death, MacWillie said.

Sally edited Tarantino's biggest movies, including last year's
"Inglourious Basterds," for which she was nominated for an
Academy Award. She also was nominated for an Oscar for editing
Tarantino's 1995 film "Pulp Fiction."

Other Tarantino films edited by Sally included "Death Proof,"
both "Kill Bill" films, "Jackie Brown" and "Reservoir Dogs."

Before working with Tarantino, she edited the 1990 film "Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Paisley & Urban to Reopen Grand Ole Opry in Style...

The Grand Ole Opry House will reopen on Tuesday night with a star-
studded homecoming event, hosting its first concert since flooding
devastated Nashville in May and inundated the world's most famous
country-music venue.

Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Dierks
Bentley, Josh Turner and Jason Aldean are among those scheduled
to perform as part of Country Comes Home: An Opry Celebration,
airing live at 9 p.m. ET on GAC, Opry.com and GACTV.com.

"Every Opry show is special, but the show tonight is going to be
so meaningful," Turner says. "It won't be a typical Opry show.
It's going to be one for the ages."

The Opry did not miss a single show due to the floods, broadcasting
from different venues around Nashville while its home was being
restored and refurbished.

The Bachelor brings back Brad Womack...

"Bachelor" host Chris Harrison is a man of many promises. More
than once, he's promised viewers that they would be treated to
"the most shocking moment" in show history. At this point,
fans should expect a live sacrifice to take place at the stately
"Bachelor" manor.

So when Chris announced on his Twitter page last week that he
will be attending tonight's "Dancing with the Stars" show with
the next "Bachelor" star, rumors started running rampant.
Would a contestant on the Ali Fedotowsky edition of "The
Bachelorette" step up to the plate and become the hunted?
Would the show go back to its roots and find a complete unknown
to fill the role? Or would a former "Bachelor" star return to
the show to try to find love again?

Turns out it's the latter.

Brad Womack, the Texas bar owner who famously chose no one
during the 11th season of the hit ABC show, was introduced
as the hunted for the new season of "The Bachelor," which
is expected to premiere in early 2011.

Brad caused controversy when he rejected both Jenni Croft and
DeAnna Pappas (who would later become "The Bachelorette"),
saying he didn't feel a connection with either of them.
Reaction to Brad's decision was swift, with many fans accusing
him of wasting the show's time.

But Brad apparently doesn't believe that, he has said in
interviews that he still believes in a fairy tale romance,
and that he'd be willing to give the show another chance.
Well, here's his chance.

What do you think of Brad Womack as the next "Bachelor" star?

Twilight Saga Gets New Blood with Two More Actresses...

Break out the fangs: The Twilight clan is set to welcome two
more lucky actresses, Maggie Grace and Mackenzie Foy, to the
upcoming Breaking Dawn movies.

Maggie, 27, who played Shannon Rutherford during the first two
seasons of Lost, has signed on to play Irina, a member of the
Denali coven who blames the Cullens for the death of her lover.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie, a 9-year-old actress with no feature-film
experience, is close to taking the role of Renesmee, Edward and
Bella's vampire/human love child.

Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final novel in Stephenie Meyer's
Twilight series, is being split into two films, the first of
which will hit theaters on Nov. 18, 2011.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon were
still working on script rewrites earlier this month. The first
film goes into production this November.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This actor had to be forced to don underwear on the set of his
hit sitcom after his co-stars reportedly complained to his
wife about his lack of briefs...

It's Kelsey Grammer...

The TV actor, who split from Camille Donatacci earlier this year,
is said to have had a penchant for going commando during his
years on the popular 1990s series, much to his castmates' disdain.

And they became so disgusted by his failure to wear undergarments
that they begged Camille to convince him to change his ways.

The website claims Camille makes the revelation during next
month's season premiere of reality show "The Real Housewives of
Beverly Hills," after joining the program over the summer as her
marriage fell apart.

She reportedly says, "The cast of 'Frasier' came to me and asked
me to get him to wear underwear. They were sick of him not
wearing any."

Kelsey has since moved on to date Kayte Walsh and the couple
announced in August it was expecting its first baby together.
The child will be the actor's fifth.
