Lady Gaga's 'Applause' audio gets nearly 3M hits on YouTube
The audio for U.S. pop star Lady Gaga's latest single "Applause" has gotten nearly 3 million hits since it was posted on YouTube Monday. The song is the first released from her forthcoming album "ARTPOP," which is available for pre-order now on iTunes and set for release Nov. 11 through Streamline/Interscope Records. Lady Gaga is to perform "Applause" for the first time live at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in Brooklyn, N.Y., Aug. 25.
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley to host CMA Awards show
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are to serve as CMA Awards ceremony co-hosts for a sixth time in Nashville this fall, ABC announced. The 47th annual CMA Awards show is to air Nov. 6, live from the Bridgestone Arena. "Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts," Ed Hardy, president of the CMA board of directors, said in a statement Tuesday. "They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

Usher's son released from hospital after pool mishap
Usher's 5-year-old son has been released from an Atlanta hospital after he nearly drowned in his family pool last week, People.com said Tuesday. Usher Raymond V "is going to be just fine," a source close to the recording artist told the celebrity magazine. "Doctors were taking every recaution to make sure Cinco was OK, but the danger looks like it has passed." The child was hospitalized Aug. 5 after he caught his arm in a pool drain while trying to retrieve a toy. Usher won primary custody of his two sons after a bitter custody battle last year with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. Foster unsuccessfully tried to regain custody of Cinco and his 4-year-old brother Naviyd following last week's mishap in the pool.
Comic actor Will Arnett is dating celebrity chef Katie Lee
Hollywood actor Will Arnett is dating celebrity chef Katie Lee following his divorce from actress Amy Poehler last year, E! News reported Tuesday. Arnett and Poehler were married in 2003 and have two sons -- Archie, 4, and Abel, 2. Lee was previously married to rocker Billy Joel for five years before they divorced in 2009.
