Here's the Scoop...

I got some great news yesterday... about a month ago my mom was tested for Alzheimer's in a form of a verbal and written test.

She didn't do so well. I believed the reason was two days earlier her sister had passed away leaving my mom distraught.

They decided to retest her in a month and I'm happy to say... my mom is sharp as a tack! At 88 years old I should be as with it as her!

Anyway, I'm so happy as is she. Let's get to the nooz.

Be Well,
Anisa

Canadians Launch Petition To Boot Kanye West From Pan Am Games...
The Pan American Games, an international multi-sport competition based in Canada, confirmed last week that Kanye West would be closing out the 2015 event on July 26.

Pan Am fans, who were hoping to have a Canadian artist perform, were frustrated by the booking and started a petition to kick West out of the closing ceremony.

The petition, which started the same day Pan Am made its announcement July 15, had garnered over 50,000 signatures by Tuesday.

"The Toronto Pan Am games have proven to be very important for Torontonians this year and have triggered a unified sense of pride in our city," the petition read. "It would only be just to ask a proud Torontonian (or even a Canadian for that matter) in the music industry to perform, such as Drake, Walk Off The Earth, Feist, Metric, Shania Twain, deadmau5, Crystal Castles, Zeds Dead, The Weeknd, Peaches, K'naan, and many many more!"

Fans also fired off on Twitter to complain about the decision, calling it "ridiculous."

LOOSE LIPS:
"The truest meaning of unconditional love is my child. I thought I loved Ashton, I thought I loved my parents, my dogs. I was like, 'I know love.' It's such a different aspect, though. It's not like it's greater or lesser. It's just in a whole other field." - Mila Kunis, on what she's learned from motherhood,

Carol Burnett To Receive Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award...
Carol Burnett is to be honored with the 2015 SAG Life Achievement Award this winter.

The prize will be presented to the 82-year-old comedy icon at the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony, which is to be simulcast live on TNT and TBS Jan. 30.

"Carol Burnett is a creative dynamo and a comedic genius. She embodies the generosity and courage that the greatest actors use in creating enduring and memorable characters," SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard said in a statement Monday.

"From her heartbreakingly hilarious Starlet O'Hara to the adorably inept Eunice and alarmingly funny Miss Hannigan, Carol has delighted and inspired millions of viewers and thousands of comedic actors. She took risks as a performer and through her courage, encouraged fellow actors to try new things and always, always reach for the sky. Her innate love of actors led to the creation of an ensemble cast that made The Carol Burnett Show a masterpiece of variety programming."

Jaime King and Husband Kyle Newman Welcome Baby Boy...
Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman welcomed a baby boy last week.

The 36-year-old actress and 39-year-old director announced the birth of their second child Monday on Instagram. The couple are already parents to 20-month-old son James, and revealed they were expecting again in February.

"We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx," King wrote. The director added, "HE'S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world. Born July 16th! Mom & Baby are well. Name coming soon."

King and Newman met on the set of Fanboys in 2006, and married in Los Angeles in November 2007. The couple welcomed James in October 2013, and the actress named close friend and singer Taylor Swift godmother to her second child in March.

King last appeared in Barely Lethal with Jessica Alba and Hailee Steinfeld, and was best known for portraying Lemon Breeland on Hart of Dixie. The CW series starred Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, and was canceled after completing a fourth season this year

??? Guess Who ???

The actress who denies firing her mom/manager?

It's Katherine Heigl... She has denied firing mom/manager Nancy Heigl in a statement through her rep.

The 36-year-old actress shot down rumors of such after OK! magazine reported Heigl parted ways with her mother in an effort to revive her flagging career. The star's latest project, State of Affairs, was canceled after one season in May.

"Nancy isn't a producer, or really even a manager -- something that she admits herself," a source said in the publication's July 27 issue. "But she thinks that she has a right to make decisions and she has angered a lot of people in the process."

"Katherine doesn't know when to stay quiet," the insider opined. "She's damaged her reputation, and her mother encouraged that behavior. She is very close to her mom, but she knows she needs to salvage what remains of her career with someone else."

Heigl's rep told Gossip Cop the rumor is "not true." The actress is best known for portraying Izzie Stevens on ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy, but recently denied reports she will return in season 12. She will next appear in Jenny's Wedding with Alexis Bledel.
