Caitlyn Jenner's 'I Am Cait' canceled after two seasons
Caitlyn Jenner's E! reality series I Am Cait has been canceled after two seasons.

According to Deadline, the documentary series, which followed Jenner as she fully transitioned into being a woman, has failed to maintain high ratings despite launching in July of 2015 with 2.73 million viewers.

Newer Season 2 episodes have struggled with a few only reaching 500,000 total viewers.

"After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it's time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!" the reality star wrote on Twitter Tuesday confirming the cancellation.

"We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of I Am Cait, a groundbreaking docuseries that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs," the E! Network added in a statement before mentioning how Jenner would be returning to her reality television roots.

"Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the statement continues.

In addition to joining the Kardashian/Jenner clan on television more, the 66-year-old is also set to appear on Season 3 of Amazon's Transparent.

LOOSE LIPS:
"There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer's are just too dang short for this summer's thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It's all love (don't let anyone tell you otherwise.)"

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper to headline 'A Star is Born' re-make
Recording artist and actress Lady Gaga has signed on to appear opposite actor Bradley Cooper in a re-make of the musical drama A Star is Born, which will mark Cooper's directorial debut.

The announcement was made Tuesday by Greg Silverman, president of creative development and worldwide production for Warner Bros. Pictures.

"For those of us lucky enough to watch him work as an actor and producer, it has been clear that Bradley would make this transition to director," Silverman said in a statement. "We are honored that he is doing it, here, at his home -- Warner Bros.-- and with Lady Gaga as a collaborator and co-star. The world is in for a treat as these great artists craft an all-new vision of A Star is Born."

Lady Gaga will also compose and perform new songs for the film.

Previous screen incarnations of A Star is Born were released in 1937, 1954 and 1976.

Which actress will join Idina Menzel in Lifetime's 'Beaches' remake?

Nia Long will star alongside Idina Menzel in Lifetime's Beaches remake.

News outlets reported Tuesday that the 45-year-old actress will play Hillary Whitney, a role Barbara Hershey portrayed in the original 1988 movie. Menzel will play Bette Midler's character, C.C. Bloom.

Beaches is based on the Iris Rainer Dart Novel of the same name. The story follows two women, who meet as children in Atlantic City, N.J., as their friendship spans more than 30 years of love and loss.

The TV remake will shift the film from the East to West coast. Long's character is described as the "daughter of a prominent civil rights lawyer who struggles to find her own destiny," while Menzel's is an aspiring singer from Los Angeles.

Lifetime's version started production Monday in Vancouver, Canada. The movie will include updated renditions of the original's well-known songs, including "Wind Beneath My Wings," in addition to new tracks recorded for the film.

Long is known for playing Lisa Wilkes on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Sasha Monroe on Third Watch. She also appeared in the movies The Best Man, Big Momma's House and Alfie.
