Here's the Scoop....

Nicolas Cage isn't letting legal drama affect his career.

Following his arrest on Friday for domestic abuse, public
intoxication and disturbing the peace, the Academy Award-
winning actor, 47, was back to work Monday on the New
Orleans set of his latest film, Medallion.

"He is always extremely professional," a set source says of
Nicolas. "He is a dedicated actor when he is at work, and I
don't think people would hire him so much if he wasn't."

Nicolas, who the source says is currently "in fine shape and
ready to work," isn't wasting any time diving into challenging
parts of filming.

The source also reveals that Nicolas is "very excited about"
doing some of his own stunts for some action sequences he
will take on later this week.

Berry drops out of Broadway play over custody problems...

Halle Berry has been forced to drop out of a Broadway stage
show opposite Samuel L. Jackson as she continues her child
custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

She was due to play a hotel maid who delivers a meal to civil
rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., played by Jackson, on
the evening before he is assassinated in a production of "The
Mountaintop."

Halle has now withdrawn from the role so she can concentrate
on fighting for custody of her daughter, Nahla, her only child
with model Gabriel.

The actress became embroiled in a legal fight with him in
December, when the model filed a paternity petition asking to
be officially recognized as the three year old's father
following the couple's split last year.

Gabriel had appealed against Halle being allowed to take Nahla
away with her on film shoots, forcing the star to drop out of
upcoming movie "New Year's Eve." But she has since won the
right to take her daughter with her on movie locations across
the U.S. and has rejoined the cast.

But a representative for Halle has now confirmed she has
dropped out of the play to deal with her ongoing personal
problems, saying, "Ms. Berry would not be appearing in the
role due to child-custody issues."

Evan Rachel Wood Dates Both Sexes...

Evan Rachel Wood isn't necessarily looking for the man of her
dreams.

The Mildred Pierce star, 23, would be just as happy if the
right woman came along.

"I'm into anything," Evan reveals. "Meet a nice guy, meet a
nice girl..."

In the public eye, she's only dated men, but Evan, who was
briefly engaged to shock-rocker Marilyn Manson, has experience
with the same sex, as well.

Asked if she dates women, she answers bluntly, "Yes." As for
what she's like in a same-sex relationship, Evan says, "I'm
more kind of like the guy when it comes to [dating] girls.
I'm the dominant one ? I'm opening the doors. I'm buying
dinner. Yeah, I'm romantic."

And Evan takes pleasure in her enigmatic persona. "I think
I'm a little controversial," she says. "I just try and keep
some mystery, so hopefully people can't really put their
finger on it."

Michael Sarrazin Dies at 70...

Michael Sarrazin, whose late '60s and early '70s movies
included the Oscar-nominated They Shoot Horses, Don't They
with Jane Fonda, died of cancer Sunday in a Montreal hospital.

The Quebec City-born actor was 70.

Among his other movies were The Flim-Flam Man with George C.
Scott, The Sweet Ride with Jacqueline Bisset, with whom he
had a long relationship, as well as Sometimes a Great Notion
and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, both with Paul
Newman, and For Pete's Sake, with Barbra Streisand.

Although never a full-fledged box-office name, the lanky,
boyish Michael was up for the leading role of Joe Buck in
1969's Midnight Cowboy. But, because of Michael's contractual
commitment to another studio, the part went to, and made a
star out of, Jon Voight.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and Catherine, and
a brother, Pierre, a producer.

Demi Lovato Is Leaving Sonny with a Chance...

Demi Lovato is taking a chance.

The teen star, who entered treatment for "physical and
emotional issues" last October, will not be returning to her
hit Disney Channel series, Sonny with a Chance.

"It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus
on my music," Demi, 18, says. "It's kind of sad for me that a
chapter of my life has ended but there couldn't be a better
time for me to move on."

"I don't think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my
recovery," says Demi, who returned to Los Angeles in January
after completing three months of in-patient treatment. "Being
in front of a camera would make me nervous."

And she has the support of the Disney Channel.

"We respect Demi's decision to focus fulltime on her music and
not immediately return to her acting career," a rep for the
Disney Channel said in a statement. "She is a talented young
woman and our hearts are with her as she continues to take
action to improve her health and bounce back from adversity."

Demi's career took off after starring in the Disney Channel's
2008 original movie Camp Rock, opposite the Jonas Brothers.
Next came Sonny with a Chance, which debuted in 2010.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This actor lied on his resume before he was famous in a bid
to land acting roles...

It's Robert Pattinson...

The British actor got his first big break portraying Cedric
Diggory in 2005 movie "Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire"
and subsequently shot to fame as vampire Edward Cullen in
the "Twilight" franchise.

Robert had previously struggled to land roles, spending two
years unemployed before moving to Los Angeles in a bid to
find work.

He was so desperate to get a job, he pretended to have
attended London's prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
(RADA) and Oxford University to impress potential employers.

He reveals, "I'd been unemployed for ages, and when I came to
Los Angeles all the casting directors would ask what I'd been
doing for the past few years. I'd say, 'Oh, I was at RADA' -
If you've got an English accent you can get away with it. I'd
say I went to Oxford, too. I did it for years. But it didn't
work when loads of English people started moving to Los
Angeles. So then I pretended to be American for a bit. When
'Twilight' came out I still tried to pretend to be American
but people thought I was insane, so I stopped."
