Rumer Willis moves dad Bruce Willis to tears on 'Dancing'
Rumer Willis moved father Bruce Willis to tears Monday on Dancing with the Stars.

The 26-year-old actress and partner Val Chmerkovskiy earned two perfect scores with their performances: one for their foxtrot to Hozier hit "Take Me to Church" and one for their freestyle to Britney Spears song "Toxic."

Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore were in the audience to support their eldest daughter. Willis' sister Tallulah Willis shared a photo of their emotional dad on Instagram, writing, "Look at this cutie tearing up from my insanely magical sisters dance. we are all so proud of you Rue."

Willis and Chmerkovskiy are the second-highest overall-scoring couple in season 20. Riker Lynch and Allison Hollker and Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess also remain in competition, with the winner to be announced Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

Simon Pegg says sci-fi obsession 'dumbs down' film industry, then retracts
Self-proclaimed science-fiction super-fan, screenwriter and actor Simon Pegg sees a bigger issue with the genre's success.

The British Star Trek star told Radio Times that the film industry's obsession with sci-fi, superheroes and spectacle takes away from the art of filmmaking.

"It is a kind of dumbing down in a way," he said. "Because it's taking our focus away from real-world issues. Films used to be about challenging, emotional journeys or moral questions that might make you walk away and re-evaluate how you felt about...whatever. Now we're walking out of the cinema really not thinking about anything, other than the fact that the Hulk just had a fight with a robot."

The Nerd Do Well author, 45, confessed that he was a huge fan of the sci-fi genre but sees society as something that has been "infantilized by our own taste."

"We're essentially consuming very childish things -- comic books, superheroes...Adults are watching this stuff, and taking it seriously!"

He told the magazine that he sometimes misses "grown-up things," like "amoral art movies" and intends to move forward into "some serious acting."

"I honestly thought the other day that I'm gonna retire from geekdom," he said. "I've become the poster child for that generation, and it's not necessarily something I particularly want to be."

In a blog post following the Radio Times interview, Pegg admitted to being a "Contrary Mary," during some interviews.

"When you do lots of [interviews], you get sick of your own opinions and start espousing other people's. Having said that, the idea of our prolonged youth is something I've been interested in for a very long time," he wrote.

"I did not mean that science fiction or fantasy are dumb, far from it. How could I say that?" he continued. "I guess what I meant was, the more spectacle becomes the driving creative priority, the less thoughtful or challenging the films can become."

Pegg wrote that although sci-fi and superhero films have been recreated with added layers of plot and complexity, market forces still simplify their image "so that toys and lunch boxes can be sold."

At the end of his post, he said, "I am still a nerd and proud," adding a postscript that Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan will also be Stormtroopers in his upcoming Star Wars flick, The Force Awakens.

Who recently revealed he stole Kim Kardashian's clothes?

'Shoegate' causes controversy at Cannes Film Festival, Emily Blunt comments
Stark tradition on the Cannes red carpet overshadowed a screening of feminist flick Carol as guests were allegedly turned away for not wearing high heels.

A group of middle-aged women -- some apparently suffering from unnamed health issues -- were denied entry to a red carpet screening of Todd Haynes' competition entry for wearing rhinestone flats, industry news site Screen Daily reports.

Invited guests and viewer hopefuls alike are apparently obligated to dress in 'black-tie' fashion when attending screenings at the glamorous festival. Event tickets insist that people come "smartly dressed."

That traditionally means men must wear tuxedos and black shoes, while women are expected to wear chic outfits and heels.

As 'shoegate' rumors circulated throughout the festival, actress Emily Blunt commented on the issue during a press conference for her FBI drama Sicario.

"Everyone should wear flats, to be honest. We shouldn't wear high heels," Blunt said. "That's very disappointing, just when you kind of think there are these new waves of equality."

Her director, Denis Villeneuve, joked that he and Blunt's male Sicario co-stars, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, should wear heels on the red carpet in protest.

Amy director Asif Kapadia tweeted that his wife had a similar encounter with festival authorities, but was "eventually let in."

There are no explicit guidelines enforcing a high-heel-only dress code for female Cannes attendees; The Guardian reports that festival employees were unsure whether or not it was an official rule.

Cannes executive Thierry Frémaux denied the unspoken regulation. "The rumor saying the festival insists on high heels for women on the red carpet is unfounded," he wrote on Twitter.

Sofia Vergara open to having kids with Joe Manganiello
Sofia Vergara is open to having children with fiancé Joe Manganiello.

The 42-year-old actress revealed as much in an interview for the June issue of Redbook. Vergara is already mother to 22-year-old son Manolo by ex-husband Joe Gonzalez, and told the magazine she would be interested in kids with Manganiello.

"Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids," she related. "How am I going to say no [to children]? I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."

Vergara and Gonzalez had been married three years when they divorced in 1993. The actress later became engaged to businessman Nick Loeb, who is fighting for custody of the embryos he and Vergara froze during their relationship.

"I finally realized that relationships don't need to be so much work," the star said of her healthy dynamic with Manganiello. "Ever since we met, it's been so easy. I'm very suspicious. I'm like, 'It's not normal that we've been together for nine months and we haven't had a big fight or anything."

Vergara currently portrays Gloria Delgado Pritchett on ABC sitcom Modern Family. The series co-stars Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill, and was renewed for a seventh season earlier this month.

??? Guess Who ???

Who recently revealed he stole Kim Kardashian's clothes?

In the second part of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special, Bruce Jenner admitted to stealing clothes from Kim Kardashian's closet.

Kardashian decided to give Bruce wardrobe advice as he prepares to fully transition into a woman in the spring.

"You stole my outfit?!" the reality star asked her stepfather.

"A long, long time ago," he said, while rummaging through his closet. "I gotta find it."

"Oh, my God," she said. "I'll literally kill you if it's something that I was missing that I probably accused Kendall and Kylie of..."

Jenner comes out with a grey top and it turns out Kardashian didn't even remember when she owned it.

"This you can have," Kim said, "so let me put together an outfit for you. I think this and this, this is a good outfit together. I can't believe you're so sneaky!"

After she finds a bottom to go with the her old piece of clothing, she asks him, "Let me ask you something, were you ever envious of my mom, like of her closet?"

"I went through everything she had in her closet, of course I was envious," he responded

Last month Kardashian was worried that Bruce would steal her beauty team, not her clothes. She revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that she first told Jenner: "Whatever you do, do not steal my glam team, they are mine"
