It's almost Friday, and football season starts tonight. I'm trying to get hurry and get out of the office, so I can enjoy what is antipicated to be a great game tonight between Pittsburgh and New England.

The Heartbreaker star and his wife are first-time parents!

Monday, September 7th, the couple welcomed a baby girl, Charlie Mae Annable.

"Team Annable did not get the memo that 'Labor Day' wasn't to be taken literally. Charlie is a holiday all on her own," he added. "Mom and baby are in great health, and dad hasn't stopped crying since. Shocker. Charlie is one lucky girl to have you as a mother @odetteannable. You are made from heaven."

Awww, congrats to the newbie parents and the new journey that lies ahead for them.

Britney Spears Extends Vegas Show...
Yep, you read it right! Britney Spears has extended her contract in Las Vegas another 2 years.

The 33-year-old made the announcement on Wednesday at her show. "Usually, I get you guys to help me count to three, but tonight I want you to help me count to two because i'm going to be in Vegas for two more years!"

Britney has been performing her popular show, Piece of Me, at Planet Hollywood in Vegas since December 2013. In a press release from Britney and Planet Hollywood, she said the show will undergo "a substantial re-imagination" to add "jaw-dropping elements" designed to achieve "new heights."

Her show sells out regularly and has been seen by just about 400,00 people.

Patrick Dempsey Joining Bridget Jones...
It has been reported that Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast of the third Bridget Jones movie, Bridget Jones's Baby!

The 49-year-old hunk will join fellow actors, Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth, who will reprise their roles of Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy.

No details are known yet about Patrick's role in the sequel, but it is speculated that the Can't Buy Me Love alum may be a rival for Bridget's affection. Whatever his role is, it will be his first on-screen appearance since his Grey's Anatomy character was killed off earlier this year.

It's Simon Cowell... the now multi-millionaire started out as a runner at Elstree Studios in south London, where the cult classic, The Shining, was filmed.

The talent show judge had the honor to buff up Jack Nicholsons' axe for the famous "Here's Johnny" scene amoung other tasks.

Simon's half brother Tony Cowell said in a interview on BBC 3, "Simon got his first taste of the entertainment business at Elstree Studios. It was only a stone's throw away from where we grew up.

"He did plenty of menial jobs in those days and he even worked as a runner on 'The Shining.'

"I well remember him saying he used to clean Jack Nicholson's axe in between takes for the most famous scenes.

"He took great pride in it, you could see your face in it, it was so shiny.

"It's a far cry from where he is now. I think the only thing he shines these days are his teeth."
