Here's the Scoop....
Can't wait for the Oct. 25 release of Taylor Swift's upcoming
album? The country superstar will treat fans to a sneak peak
of Speak Now when she performs her first single, "Mine," on
the CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock TV special.
Taylor's top-secret performance, which was filmed last month
in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival, will air Sept. 1
at 8 p.m. on the ABC Television Network.
Tim McGraw is set to host the show, which will also feature
performances by country's hottest stars, including Carrie
Underwood, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Rascall Flatts,
Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and more.
Also in store for the special: A collaborative performance
with Dierks Bentley, Jamey Johnson and Lambert, and a
behind-the-scenes glimpse at Lady Antebellum, who allowed
cameras to follow them for a day at the June music festival.

Bristol Palin calls of engagement for second time...
The teenage daughter of former U.S. vice-presidential candidate
Sarah Palin has broken off her engagement to Levi Johnston for
the second time - less than three weeks after announcing their
plans to wed.
Bristol Palin, 19, ended her first engagement to Levi last
year after giving birth to their son Tripp in December 2008.
The pair subsequently became embroiled in a bitter custody
battle, only to reignite their relationship after a meeting
earlier this year.
Bristol and Levi announced they were set to exchange vows
once more in an exclusive cover interview with Us Weekly
last month, with Bristol admitting her own mother had no
idea about the nuptials.
She said, "We got engaged two weeks ago. It felt right, even
though we don't have the approval of our parents... It is
intimidating and scary just to think about what her (Sarah
Palin's) reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on
board."
But Bristol has now split from Levi after accusing him of
using her and her family for their fame.
She comments, "It's over. I broke up with him. He's just
obsessed with the limelight and I got played."

Sandra Bullock is Hollywood's best-paid actress...
Sandra has seen off competition from Reese Witherspoon and
Cameron Diaz to top Forbes magazine's best-paid actress
list.
The "Miss Congeniality" star's career is at an all-time high
despite her personal woes. She's landed at number one as the
highest-earning actress over the last year, taking in $56
million between June 2009 and June 2010.
Forbes editors looked at income from film roles in addition
to money that stars might have earned from perfume deals,
clothing lines and ad campaigns.
Securing Sandra's top spot were her roles in "The Proposal"
and "The Blind Side," which won Sandra her first Oscar last
year, for best leading actress.
Reese and Cameron followed, each earning about $32 million.
The pair is followed by Jennifer Aniston in fourth place
with $27 million, and "Sex & the City" star Sarah Jessica
Parker, who ranks fifth on the list with $25 million.

The Day Eva Mendes Nearly Killed Will Ferrell...
Eva Mendes and Will Ferrell play an unlikely married couple
in their upcoming comedy, The Other Guys. But shooting an
improvised argument scene together proved to be no joke.
"Once we got the scene down, we were told to improv," Eva
said at the movie's Manhattan premiere Monday. "We got into
a little tug of war, and I picked up what was supposed to
be a prop knife."
Unbeknownst to the actress, "it was actually a carving knife
from our meal. I lunged at him, and I was really proud of
myself."
Then she realized her mistake.
"When we cut, Will said, 'Wow, usually we have to coordinate
that with the stunt department.' It could have gotten ugly
in a second," she recalls. "I almost killed Will Ferrell!"
She also succeeded in nauseating him on set, thanks to a
strategic use of undergarments.
Eva plays the inexplicably hot wife of Will's dopey character
in the film, which also stars Mark Wahlberg. But for one
scene, she ratchets down her sex appeal. Way down. Dressed as
her grandmother, Mama Ramos, she pays a steamy visit to her
husband on the sly.
"It was hilarious to see Eva in granny panties and a gigantic
grandmother bra," Will said. "It's almost hot ... and then
you get nauseous. So it's both ends of the spectrum."

Justin Bieber Faces a Corpse on CSI...
Who knew Bieber Fever could be deadly?
Filming his role as a troubled teen for CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation, Justin Bieber came face-to-face with a fake
corpse on set of the CBS show. Hovering over the prop, the
pop star got into character and gave the camera his best
look of horror.
?He did a really good job,? CSI?s executive producer Carol
Mendelsohn said.
In his acting debut, Justin plays Jason McCann, a troubled
teen in a dysfunctional, anti-government family. He has a
foster dad in prison and a brother bent on revenge against
the police. So where does that leave Justin?s character?
?Is he a good kid stuck in a bad situation or is he a bad
kid hiding behind the cutes?? Mendelsohn says. ?He?s caught
in the middle.?
Justin was excited about his stint on the show and took to
Twitter to tease the episode for fans. ?Amazing day ?
excited for you guys to get to watch it ? and yes I did
prank the EP of the show ? somebody got locked in the
closet,? he Tweeted after shooting the episode. ?Thanks to
everyone at CSI for having me.?
Justin will be back on the CSI set early next year to film
a second episode, due in February, that will continue his
character?s storyline. The first episode airs on Sept. 23.

Katy grew up in a strict religious household with her pastor
parents, who both preached in their local church.
She has revealed her parents would regularly take part in
glossolalia sessions - the vocalizing of speech-like
syllables as a form of religious expression. And Katy is
adamant the practice was just another everyday occurrence
in her "nutty" household.
Katy tells Rolling Stone magazine, "(My household was) strict
and nutty... Speaking in tongues is as normal to me as 'Pass
the salt.'
"A lot of religions use meditation or chanting. It's a secret,
direct prayer language to God. My dad speaks in tongues and
my mom interprets it. That's their gift."
