Ariel Winter to stay with her sister

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has decided 14-year-old "Modern Family" actress Ariel Winter should continue staying with her sister instead of her mother. Judge Michael Levanas extended the temporary custody of Winter to Shanelle Gray, 34, after a Department of Children and Family Services investigation found evidence of emotional abuse at the hands of the girl's mother, Chrisoula Workman, People.com reported. Although the report showed allegations Winter made of physical abuse were unsubstantiated, investigators recommended Gray be awarded permanent guardianship of Winter, the magazine's website said. The guardianship matter will be settled at trial, the start date for which has not yet been announced.

Kelsey Grammer Cancelled

Starz says it is canceling Kelsey Grammer's Chicago-set political drama "Boss" after two seasons of good reviews and low ratings. "After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to not proceed with 'Boss,'" the network said in a statement Tuesday. "We remain proud of this award-winning show, its exceptional cast and writers, and are grateful to Kelsey Grammer, Farhad Safinia and our partners at Lionsgate TV." Grammer is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work in the sitcoms "Cheers" and "Frasier." "Boss" was his first small-screen drama.

Apolo Ohno, Emmitt Smith and their professional dance partners were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night. Ohno was paired with Karina Smirnoff for the all-stars edition of the show, while Smith performed with Cheryl Burke. Dancers make it to the next round of competition through a combination of the judges' scores and viewers' votes. Heading into next week's finals with their professional dance partners are Melissa Rycroft, Kelly Monaco and Shawn Johnson. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are the co-hosts of the show.

Zachary Quinto will still be Spock

U.S. actor Zachary Quinto says he isn't planning to quit playing Spock on the big screen, despite remarks he made about taking his career in a new direction. Following Leonard Nimoy's seminal development of the Vulcan character, Quinto played Spock in the blockbuster movie "Star Trek" and its upcoming sequel "Star Trek Into Darkness." He is also known for his work in the TV supernatural dramas "Heroes" and "American Horror Story." "It's like an era of association with certain roles -- a specific part like Spock, or a kind of part, like Sylar [his character in 'Heroes'] -- is coming to an end," Quinto told EW.com last week. He clarified the statement on Twitter Monday. "Simmer down kids. rumors are rumors for a reason. quotes out of context. let's let the second movie come out before we talk about a third...," E! News said he tweeted.

It's Kim Zolciak

The constant catfights and vicious verbal smack downs have become too much even for the Real Housewives Of Atlanta's most dramatic diva, and now Kim Zolciak is revealing why she ditched the show mid-season.

"I was eight months pregnant and there was so much drama, I just had to walk," Kim told InTouch Weekly. "I've taken on so much in the past five years, but this was the final straw. My priority was the child inside me."
