Bizarre News - October 18, 2014

Greetings fellow Bizarros:

Ahhh, the sweet, sweet charms of 15-year-old girls. Is there anything more irresistible? The problem is; they tend to be so finicky, especially when it comes to 28-year-old men.

So how do you entice them? Throw dildos at them, of course! At least that appeared to be the strategy of 28-year-old Wisconsin man, Konrad Peters.

Peters is accused of being involved in three separate instances involving dildos.

In one instance two girls told police that a black car would drive past the alley they were walking down and slow down as it drove by them.

At one point, the car stopped about 100 feet in front of them. The driver of the vehicle opened the driver side door and placed an unknown object on the ground. The driver then shut the door and proceeded to drive past the girls.

The two girls inspected and found it to be a "giant purple dildo" and told the police the man who put it there was sitting there staring at them from his car.

Other reports had a similar MO.

A search warrant revealed "33 dildos and multiple sex toys." So apparently he was going for volume.

Peters was arrested and is accused of exposing children to harmful materials.

Bizarrely,
Lewis

*---- $85M lottery winner hides identity with bear suit ----*

TAIYUAN, China (UPI) - A Chinese man donned a cartoon bear costume to conceal his identity when he claimed an $87 million lottery jackpot. The man dressed in the yellow bear suit Monday morning when he visited the Shanxi province facility to collect his $85 million winnings, the third-largest jackpot in the history of the Shanxi lottery, and he kept the costume on when he spoke to the media. The mystery winner said he spends $3,200 to $4,900 on lottery tickets each year. He said he plans to donate some of his winnings to charity. The man is not the first in China to don a costume to keep his identity a secret when claiming a lottery prize -- a person dressed as Mickey Mouse collected a $65 million jackpot in August.

*- Police respond to crocodile report, find toy -*

PLYMOUTH, England (UPI) - British police said they responded with snare poles and riot shields to a call that turned out to be about an inflatable toy crocodile. Devon and Cornwall Police said a Plymouth, England, woman called authorities for help shortly after noon Wednesday to report spotting a 3-foot crocodile in her garden. Officers responded with snare poles, nets and riot shields while a team of wildlife experts from Dartmoor Zoo were called to assist. The officers became suspicious when they threw water on the animal and it failed to move. "The beast turned out to be an inflatable toy crocodile. Police have apprehended the crocodile," a police spokesman said. The spokesman said police do not know how the toy ended up in the woman's garden.

this has to be fake, surely these people would have been bitten don't cha think? I've been bitten too many times during the night with just one spider turning up!
[I have heard an expert on this kind of thing say that you have to work to be bitten by a spider. They tend to be very shy. Maybe you just piss them off.]

Lewis, when I was a kid there was a ceiling fan in my room that looked exactly like a giant spider was clinging to the ceiling when the lights were out and the light from the window hit it just right. Used to give me nightmares and I have been afraid of spiders ever since. Your story gave me fresh nightmare material. Thanks a lot.
[There was a coat rack in my parent's house when I was young that mistook for a creepy man on more than a few occasions. We all have our little crosses to bear.]

Lewis, did you see this one? "3-foot-long crocodile found in British mom's yard turns out to be inflatable toy. The woman called after spotting the reptile in the backyard of her Plymouth home. Police and zoo officials even came out to her home to battle the beast, but upon closer inspection, it was found to be a toy."
[Stories of these kinds of bizarre sightings are always over-inflated.]
