Greetings fellow Bizarros:

Sure art imitates life, but every now and then life imitates
art. This is exemplified by a recent, daring heist perpetrated
by robbers who tunneled their way into the vault of a Parisian
bank at the weekend and cracked almost 200 private safes!

The gangsters tied up the security guard at a Credit Lyonnais
branch on Paris's Avenue de l'Opera on Saturday night, before
digging through a series of cellars to reach the vault, police
said.

They spent several hours opening the safes and then dramatically
set the place on fire as they left. The value of the stolen
goods is still being estimated.

French media were quick to compare the case to the "Spaggiari
Affair," a heist masterminded by Albert Spaggiari more than 30
years ago in Nice. Spaggiari's gang dug into the vault of a
Societe Generale branch, spent two days and two nights there
and made away with booty worth some 24 million euros.

Rumors already have Marky Mark pegged to play the lead in the
movie.

Bizarrely,

Lewis

----------- Man goes on $10G tax office rampage -----------

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - A Canadian commercial income
tax preparation service in Vancouver was tidying up Monday
after an enraged customer caused more than $10,000 damage.
Constable Lindsey Houghton told reporters the unidentified
52-year-old man showed up at the business Sunday afternoon
claiming the company had made a mistake on a past income
tax filing, although at a different location. He was
apparently unhappy with the staff's response to his
complaint and began throwing furniture around the office,
The (Vancouver) Province said. He then began sliding his
arms across desks, sending computers and monitors crashing
to the floor, Houghton said. As police officers arrived to
arrest the man, they saw him trying to use an interior
stand-up sign to smash the front window, the report said.
"Everyone would agree that income tax time can be stress-
ful," Houghton said.

---------- Police: Store streaker was 'bored' -----------

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Police in Kingston, Tenn., said a man
charged with running naked through a grocery story told
officers he did it because he was bored. A police report
said Daniel Lee, 22, of Church Hill, admitted to walking
into the IGA grocery store Friday about 9 p.m. "wearing
only a rubber mask," The Kingsport Times-News reported
Tuesday. Lee fled the store but employees were able to
detain his alleged accomplice, Katelyn Trent, 18, who said
she was his girlfriend. The suspect was tracked to a nearby
Hardee's, where employees said he came inside dressed in
only an orange hoodie and started begging for clothes
before hiding in a bathroom. "Daniel advised me that he
did run through the IGA nude because he was bored and
didn't have anything to do," an officer wrote in the
report. Lee was charged with indecent exposure and booked
into the Kingsport jail. No charges had been filed against
Trent.

Re: Circumcision and Medical science. How can one believe in
God and then say, "We'll have to fix that little mistake He
made?"
[Are you also the kind of person who doesn't believe in using
modern drugs because they're not in God's plan? I'm not
criticizing, just want to get a more accurate picture of your
beliefs.]

Forget the fact that no one should vote for a bill they
haven't read. There are plenty of things to be very
concerned about in the US health care bill but the biggest
problem with the new bill is unfunded liability. It creates
all kinds of new entitlements that are funded by borrowing.
Welfare and entitlements are great right up until your
country declares bankruptcy. -John

Lewis, If a simple circumcision was all that was needed
to prevent certain STD's then America would be one of the
safest places to have sex since most of our males are
circumcised. Condoms prevent STD's - not circumcisions.
Look up your facts and use some common sense. -Vanessa
[It's true I am not a medical researcher, so I am forced
to believe what I read. And what I have read is that
circumcision reduces a male's risk of urinary tract in-
fections, sexually transmitted diseases not only in men,
but also in women, and most recently a dramatic (meaning
nearly 50 percent) statistical reduction in the transmission
of HIV in circumcised men was observed. I did not write that
circumcision eliminates the risk of STDs, of course. So you
are right there. Plus, I do not know what percentage of the
male U.S. population is circumcised. You apparently have
much more first-hand experience with that.]

As far as the Obama healthcare, I suppose everybody knows
that the IRS is in control of it. At least the finance
part. So you know, if you don't pay your part, well you
will sooner or later. I have seen several numbers, $1150
per taxpayer. The latest was 2.5% of your annual salary.
You mentioned politicians don't know what is in the bill.
Nancy Pelosi said in an interview "we have to pass this
bill so the people can find out what is in it." Now that
is sad. -Tony
[At 2400 pages that is hardly surprising!]

I'm sick of hearing the argument that Obama is making our
country socialist. We are and have been socialist at least
since Roosevelt and the New Deal. "Socialist" has somehow
become a word to be feared. Obama's health care plan is an
attempt to get insurance companies under control and provide
basic, routine services to people who now wait until they
are so sick that they must visit a county ER, which is
obligated to treat someone whether they can pay or not.
Guess who pays? So taxpayers are already paying healthcare
for the uninsured, at premium ER prices. If we can get a
healthcare system in place that allows those people to see
preventive and early treatment, we will save millions.
-Lisa
[I don't think anybody will argue that everybody should
have access to affordable health care, the question is;
what will it cost to federalize healthcare and the insurance
industry? Especially since the country is already 13
trillion dollars in debt. Bureaucracies tend to grow out of
control. Then you have a bloated, money-gobbling entity with
its tentacles in every aspect of your life (including your
wallet).]
