Bizarre News - June 21, 2014

Greetings fellow Bizarros:

If you thought salads were kinky, this Pennsylvania man accused of using Swiss cheese to sexually proposition unsuspecting women has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to probation.

Christopher Pagano pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and harassment. In addition to eight months of probation, he must undergo sex offender counseling.

The 42-year-old was arrested in January after three women reported that a man had driven up to them and offered them money to put cheese on his genitals and perform a lewd act. A fourth victim later came forward.

The story went viral after a Philadelphia neighborhood watch group posted a blurry cellphone picture on its Facebook page of a half-naked man in his car holding up what appears to be cheese. The group dubbed him the "Swiss Cheese Pervert."

Bizarrely,
Lewis

*-- Man on meth allegedly uses butt cheeks to fire gun at Colorado police officers --*

DENVER (UPI) - A Colorado man who was accused of smoking methamphetamine is now facing attempted murder charges after he was allegedly able to squeeze off two shots at Denver police officers from a gun he had hidden in his butt. Isaac Vigil was being brought to the police station after DPD officers repeatedly searched him when he somehow managed to open fire. Vigil stopped firing when his gun jammed and officers shot him in the stomach. The 32-year-old was taken into custody after he was seen smoking meth in a McDonald's parking lot on May 14. Vigil was facing numerous charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia, assault, felony menacing, and possession of a weapon. It was difficult to search Virgil because he was "violent and aggressive" and "highly agitated," but officers reported that the suspect was patted down three times, according to KUSA. Prior to the shooting Vigil threatened to shoot the officers several times and claimed that he had been smoking meth for three days. In addition to the handgun, Vigil had two baggies of meth stashed in his "rectal area." "I conclude that under applicable Colorado law no criminal charges are fillable against Corporal Sisneros," the Denver District Attorney wrote in a letter that was released on Monday. "My decision, based on criminal-law standards, does not limit administrative action by the Denver Police Department, where non-criminal issues can be reviewed, or civil actions where less-stringent laws, rules and legal levels of proof apply."

*-- Man arrested in Italian town of Bra for stealing brassieres and undergarments --*

BRA, Italy (UPI) - An Italian thief in Bra has been placed under house arrest for stealing brassieres and underwear from washing lines in town. The alleged thief was busted after bagging bras and pinching panties that had been left out to dry on lines and balconies in the northern Italian town. The 28-year-old conducted his undergarment-snatching operation overnight. When police searched the suspect's home in nearby Pocopaglia, he allegedly had "a house full" of women's underwear, La Repubblica reported. According to the paper, he had harassed a former girlfriend in the past. According to the Local, a 64-year-old Italian man was also arrested for stealing 17 bras from a supermarket in August. Renzo Cavalieri's arrest came only months after he was released from a year-long sentence that he had received for stealing underwear. "I have no idea why I keep stealing bras," he reportedly told police.

Lewis.. one must have their foot on the brake to take the car out of PARK-- this prevents kids and pets and the occasional foot from kicking the car into gear at inappropriate times. this interlock feature has been around since 1978 (patent issued) It became standard in about 2000. Although several GM trucks had the feature in 1988-98. -corky
[I have learned more about automobile parking and safety mechanics in the last week than I ever wanted to know. We have guys running around offering garden salads for sex and all anybody wants to talk about are gear-shifts.]

Hey, Lewis! I truly believe that Doug Odolecki's constitutional rights are indeed being violated. After all courts tell us that hate groups such as KKK and neo-nazis have a constitutional right to take over our city streets with parade permits even though community at large doesn't want such permits issued. So why shouldn't Mr. Odolecki have the same right to stand on a street corner with a sign warning drivers of a checkpoint?
[He does have the right to stand there with a sign. In fact, the time and date of the checkpoint were published by the police department. The police objected to his advising drivers to "turn now."]
