Greetings fellow Bizarros:

Boobs. Is there anything they can't do? In this case an
American woman was rescued from disaster on a mountain in
Germany after she used her size DD bra to get the attention
of nearby loggers.

The 24-year-old Colorado woman had been missing for three
days before a helicopter crew spotted her colorful sports
bra. The woman said she attached the bra to a cable used
for moving logs down the mountain.

The woman received injuries to her skull, ankle and shoulder
when she lost her footing while hiking in the Bavarian Alps
close to Berchtesgaden, Germany.

"Hanging the bra out saved her life because a logger saw
it, heard about the search for a missing woman, and called
mountain rescue," the local Police Chief said.

Officials said the woman is expected to make a full recovery.

Imagine...it could have been much worse if she had been an A
or a B cup.

Bizarrely,

Lewis

-------- Deputies find goat in trunk at checkpoint --------

BEDFORD, Va. - Authorities in Virginia said they found a
goat bound in the trunk of a car stopped at a drunken-
driving checkpoint. The Bedford County Sheriff's Office
said a deputy heard knocking sounds coming from the
trunk of a car being driven by Fiona Ann Enderdy, 32, of
Washington at the Bedford County-Campbell County line
checkpoint, the Lynchburg (Va.) News Advance reported
Tuesday. Deputies said Enderdy told deputies the sounds
were coming from a goat and the animal was found panting
heavily in the trunk. The sheriff's office said an animal
control officer working at the checkpoint measured the
temperature in the trunk at 94 degrees after it had already
been open for 10 minutes. The goat was given water and
taken to the Bedford County pound, deputies said. Enderdy,
who was charged with cruelty to an animal and released,
told deputies she purchased the goat from a farmer for
the passengers in her car, four Lynchburg residents
originally from Kenya.

----------- Police: Man thought house was B&B -----------

HIGGANUM, Conn. - Connecticut State Police said a man they

and went to sleep in a bedroom. Police said a Higganum
couple told them they were spending time with relatives in
their home when a family member went inside and found a
credit card on the stairs, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant
reported. Investigators said they found Walker Bruce, 45,
asleep in a bedroom. Bruce told them he had mistaken the
house for a bed and breakfast and left his credit card on
the stairs as payment. Police said Bruce appeared disorient-
ed and is believed to have been under the influence of
drugs. Bruce was charged with third-degree burglary and
taken to Middlesex Clinic in Essex for examination.

Michigan has been doing this since 2003. The fees assessed
are based on either number of points, or mandatory fees for
certain violations. The State believes collections are in
excess of $65 million, supposedly going to a "Fire Protection
Fund." I also remember a report in 2007 or 08 that estimated
that 25 percent of driver on Michigan roads were driving w/o
licenses as a result of these fees (they suspend your license
if you do not pay them on time.) Nothing more than a cash cow.

I disciplined/fired bad cops, as a civilian for about 8
years. The things they do AND get away with are unbelievable.
if Joe Blow (or you and I) did it, they'd throw us in jail
and throw away the key. Drunk driving is a BIG problem and
often times Judges let them off and/or the other police
officers involved just don't show-up for court or don't
even give them a ticket and they get off. My supervisor,
a Captain, told me once, "The other difference between
criminals and cops, is that cops have a badge." There are,
as you said, some good ones...but far too many that should
be punished just like everyone else ... and that simply does
not happen.
[They call that professional courtesy. The public has another
word for it.]

tuous" because we're better. But, without Florida we couldn't

[I think Florida is great. I've been there many times. The
only problem is that it's full of Floridians.]

Lewis - do you have the staff there at Bizarre News writing
out comments to you again? -Lance
[Staff? Who do you think we are, the Chicago Tribune? There
is one assistant editor for me, TZ, Anisa and the other
editors in the office. He also makes coffee, sorts mail and
lays on the break room table naked so we can eat sushi off
of him.]
