Greetings fellow Bizarros:

I read this story last week but I had to get my temper
tantrum out about the injustices we suffer from the law!
So I saved it for today.

This story actually happened in Ireland, so it is a little
difficult to confirm, but it sounds like the bizarre kind
of story which very well could be true. It seems a young
couple have revealed how they fell in love after meeting
at a nightclub, moved in together, had a child and then
discovered they were, in fact, half-brother and sister.

The extraordinary discovery was supposedly confirmed by
DNA testing just last month. It has left the couple stunned
and shaken but they are nonetheless vowing to stay together
and have more children.

They both blame the legal system which prevented the young
man from being told his true identity. He only discovered
who he really was long after he and his half-sister had got
together and had the child.

Now they are considering taking a landmark civil case against
the judge and a child psychologist involved in the family
law case that ultimately sealed their fate by refusing let
a child be told the truth about his parentage because of the
secrecy that shrouds Irish family law.

Bizarrely,

Lewis

----------- World's biggest burger: 210 pounds -----------

SYDNEY - The owner of a Sydney restaurant said he set
a world record by making a 210-pound hamburger from
178 pounds of beef and 120 eggs. Joe El-Ajouz, owner of
Ambrosia On The Spot, said it took 24 hours to create the
burger, including 12 hours just to cook the patty, and it
required four men to flip, The (Sydney) Daily Telegraph
reported Monday. "I've always wanted to break a world
record and this is a bit of fun and a marketing tool to
get people in here and get them talking," El-Ajouz said.
The patty was topped with 16 tomatoes, 120 slices of
cheese, four pounds of lettuce, a pound of barbecue sauce
and placed between 46 pounds of bread. The previous record
holder for the world's largest burger was made in the
United States and weighed 185 pounds.

---------- Student: Condoms not filled with vomit ----------

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - An Illinois student accused of throwing
condoms filled with vomit at a college security officer
said the liquid was actually a mixture of ketchup and
water. Tyler Wilfley, 19, a student at North Central
College, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct
for allegedly lobbing the liquid-filled condoms at the
security officer from a parking deck in Naperville at about
2 a.m. May 28, the Arlington Heights (Ill.) Daily Herald
reported Tuesday. Police said at least two "vomit-filled
condoms" were thrown at the officer during the incident,
splashing their contents on his car and clothing. Police
"thought it was vomit because it had a foul odor, but in
reality it was ketchup and water," Wilfley told the Daily
Herald. "I didn't throw it at the officer, either. It was
thrown at the hood of the car and ended up splashing him
in the process." North Central spokesman Ted Slowik said
officials will schedule a disciplinary hearing for Wilfley
allegedly "violating the college's conduct policies."

How about in the state of Texas now, we have a surcharge. If
you are convicted of speeding or driving without a license,
or any other moving ticket, then you are subject to a sur-
charge. These charges range from 100. to 1500 dollars for
each offense. On top of that, this is for three years time.
You can't pay them in advance but only when the year comes.
So you not only pay the fine and higher insurance payments
but also this surcharge. Now I think that is a fine on top
of a fine... fair? Just wanted to let you know about this
as I really don't think it is fair... Connie
[When you look at it as just another tax the whole thing
starts to make sense, Connie.]

Lewis, If a grocery store is emitting the smell of grilled
steak to draw customers in, what odor do you suppose the
local strip joint/porn theater would use? -Jack

Lewis, I googled your Debrahlee Lorenzana story (with pics,
of course); yep, I would have a really ~hard~ time not
getting distracted by her also. Not that I'd get rid of her
tho! Can't help but wonder if she did the 'got, flaunt it'
routine? -Rick
