Greetings fellow Bizarros:
Being a cop is stressful. Dealing with petty criminals and
assholes, getting shot at. Sometimes a cop just needs to
blow off some steam and relax, naked, in some random
stranger's pool.
It was a sunny afternoon when a police officer came to
the door of a Cathedral City, CA couple. He said he was
investigating a noise complaint and asked if he could
inspect the house.
The husband let the officer in whereupon he walked straight
though the house and out onto the pool deck in the back
yard where the homeowner's wife and two female friends were
in the pool.
The women, who said they had been drinking, said they chatted
with the officer briefly and joked that he should join them.
Not one to pass up an opportunity the on-duty officer removed
his gun belt, stripped down to nothing and jumped in the pool.
For about ten minutes he chased the homeowner's wife and her
friends around the pool while the husband debated seizing
the discarded weapon and ordering the playful cop to leave.
Instead he chose the more prudent course of action and called
911.
The officer ? who police declined to identify ? was placed on
paid leave in 11 days.
Apparently he needed a vacation.

-------- Cereal box number leads to phone sex line --------
CINCINNATI - Kroger stores in Cincinnati said cereal boxes
named for Bengals star Chad Ochocinco are being pulled due
to a misprinted phone number leading to a sex line. Store
managers said the Ochocinco cereal was supposed to bear the
number 1-888-HELP-FTC, which connects to Feed the Children,
the charity the cereal is supporting, but customers who
attempted to call the number listed on the box, 1-800-HELP-
FTC, were instead connected with a phone sex line, the
Cincinnati Enquirer reported. "We didn't even know the
other number existed," said Tony Sellars, spokesman for
Oklahoma City-based Feed The Children, which took respons-
ibility for the error. Robert Bailey, president of
Rosenhaus Sports, the firm representing Ochocinco, said
the player expects the correct number to appear on future
boxes of the honey nut cereal.

------- Officers: Drunk man drove woman to police -------
CLAWSON, Mich. - Police in Michigan said they arrested a
man who was allegedly drunk when he drove an intoxicated
woman to the police station for questioning. Investigators
said the 35-year-old Clawson woman told police she was
too drunk to be interviewed following a Sunday domestic
incident between her and her husband and she told an
officer who called Monday morning that she was still
too drunk to come in, The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens,
Mich., reported Thursday. However, Clawson Police Lt.
Scott Sarvello said the woman showed up about 15 minutes
later and said she received a ride from a neighbor. The
driver, Donald Chamberlain, 40, of Clawson, was stopped
a short distance from the police station by an officer
who said the vehicle had a cracked windshield. Chamberlain
failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol content
was measured at 0.13, more than the 0.08 legal limit.
Chamberlain was arrested and released on a personal bond
following his arraignment on a drunken driving charge. He
is due back in court Nov. 3.

I seriously doubt those kids know that they're using racist
language - they're just repeating what they heard at home
from their parents. If they see a person from an ethnic
minority, they're going to call them what they've heard
their parents call them. They think that's just what
they're called. Maybe the teachers in GB should be
reporting the children's parents to the authorities...?

Lewis; It would take a real sick and twisted individual to
interpret three year old behavior as racist and then to
report it to authorities goes well beyond what it means to
be a human being. Anyone that ignorant and paranoid should
NOT be teaching children. The requirement that teachers
report "racist" behavior in three year olds is bad enough,
but for teachers to do so is far worse. -Wes

Actually it's called the Race Relations Amendment Act. Does
this mean that freedom of speech is down the tubes? Can we
no longer voice our opinion about things that bug us because
it may offend someone's religion or ethnic background? Sounds
