Prince William and Kate Middleton will be surrounded by loved ones when they ring in their first year as newlyweds.
A source reveals that William and Kate, both 29, will travel to Aberdeen, Scotland, and will stay at Birkhall, a 53,000 acre estate belonging to William's father, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall.
"They will stay for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day," the source says. "Charles and Camilla will be flying there, too."
Unlike her first Christmas at the Palace, Kate's parents, Michael and Carole, are "expected at Birkhall for the festivities," the source believes, though they won't likely be staying with the royal family.
"They are staying at Teapot Cottage or another cottage on the estate, not Birkhall itself."

Bieber Surprises BFF with Mustang Convertible for Christmas...
Tis the season for giving, and Justin Bieber pulled out all the stops for a Christmas present for his childhood friend, Ryan Butler.
"Justin got me a present. #swag!!!" Butler posted to his Twitter along with a pic of a brand-new ivory two-door Ford Mustang Convertible Sunday.
The teen popstar and his BFF grew up together in Stratford, Ontario. Butler makes a cameo in Justin's 2009 music video for his hit, "One Time."
Despite his super-busy schedule, the 17-year-old "Under the Mistletoe" singer spent Christmas Day at home in Canada with his family -- sans girlfriend Selena Gomez. He posted a few photos of him and his two younger siblings (Jaxon, 2, and Jazmyn, 3) to his Twiter account.
"Spending time with family -- feels really good. Going to get to see these smiles on Christmas," he wrote Saturday.
"Merry Christmas from the family!" he added Sunday.
Perry Vacations in Hawaii...
It was no white Christmas for Katy Perry.
The newly blonde "Teenage Dream" singer, 27, soaked up some tropical sun, flaunting her body in an itty-bitty bikini while frolicking through the ocean in Hawaii.
The pop star was vacationing on Kauai in a private rented luxury villa.
As for the two, an onlooker says, "Katy and Russell looked very happy when they stepped off their private plane in Kauai before Christmas weekend."
During her time at the beach, Katy was joined by BFF Markus Molinari, among other friends. (Russell was not pictured in the photos at the beach.) And she appeared to enjoy the water, while also taking time to relax on the sand.

Danny Gokey Engaged...
American Idol alum Danny Gokey, who tragically lost his wife three years ago, is engaged to marry his girlfriend, Leyicet Peralta. The happy news was announced on the website of the charity Sophia's Heart, which honors the memory of his late wife, Sophia.
The site states that the entertainer, 31, recently told friends and family of the couple's plans to wed, and that they are looking to hold the wedding late next month.
"He is thrilled to have found Leyicet who also shares his passion and desire to help children and families in need," says a message on the site. "Accordingly, Danny & Leyicet have requested to their wedding guests that all gifts be in the form of a donation to Sophia's Heart."
The couple also issued a statement, saying, "We are thankful for so many of the blessings God has given us. It is our desire to see homeless children and families be kept together and lifted back on their feet through the help of Sophia's Heart. We love and appreciate you all."
A Milwaukee native, the bespectacled Danny was a season 8 Idol finalist and has a famously tragic back story that includes the 2008 loss of his young wife after a routine heart surgery. Still, last year he was able to tell reveal, "I feel very lucky [when it comes to] the progression I've made in the last year and a half."
Prince Philip Leaves Hospital Four Days After Emergency Surgery...
Prince Philip may have missed out on this year's Christmas festivities, but the 90-year-old royal still has plenty of reasons to celebrate this holiday season.
(On Friday, Queen Elizabeth II's husband was airlifted to the hospital after he complained of having chest pains. Once admitted, doctors performed emergency surgery to insert a coronary stent and relieve a blocked artery.)
After four days of treatment, Philip was released and sent home early Tuesday morning. He waved to bystanders as he was driven out of Papworth Hospital in Cambridge to begin his trek home to Sandringham House in Norfolk, England.
"On departure, Prince Philip thanked the staff at Papworth for the excellent care he has received during his stay," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson reveals. "He is very much looking forward to rejoining his family."
No decision has been made on whether Philip will attend church on Sunday, the spokesperson adds.

"I had [gained weight] with Effie [in Dreamgirls]," she explains, as excepted by Uptown Magazine. "And as much as I was moved by this film, I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight."
Instead, Jennifer, who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Dreamgirls, went on to co-star in the first Sex and the City Movie alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
Since her days on American Idol, Jennifer has dropped 80lbs. with the help of Weight Watchers. In September, she even opened up the Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers Center in Chicago.
