Justin Bieber posts photo of him holding 'Batman Vs. Superman' script

Pop star Justin Bieber confused fans by posting a photo to Instagram of himself holding a script for the upcoming "Batman Vs. Superman" film. The photo was posted Friday to Bieber's Instagram and has been liked more than 774,000 times, The Hollywood Reporter reported. While some Bieber fans were excited, others lamented that "Batman would be ruined forever" if Bieber was cast in the film, written by David S. Goyer and Zack Snyder. However, Bieber tweeted earlier Friday that he was working with the comedy website Funny or Die, so the script may have had something to do with that.

Paula Deen makes first appearance since scandal

About 1,500 people greeted Paula Deen in Houston for her first public appearance since it was revealed in June that she had used a racial slur in the past. Deen appeared at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show at Reliant Center on Saturday, The Houston Chronicle reported. Fans greeted her with cheers and a standing ovation. "These are tears of joy, y'all," Deen said. "I've said all along that the one place I'd want to make my first step back out is Texas. Y'all's hearts are as big as your state." During her appearance, Deen admitted in a deposition on May 17 that she had used a racial slur. In August, a federal judge in Georgia dismissed a sexual harassment and racial discrimination case against her; however, the damage of the scandal was done, and Deen lost partnerships with major companies, including Target, Sears, Walmart, Home Depot, Kmart and JCPenney. Stephanie Young, of the Fulshear Richmond area, showed up to the event with friends to support Deen wearing sashes and carrying placards with Deen's photo on them. "We wanted to step it up because she's had a rough year," Young said. "We want her back on TV, and we love her."

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen tie the knot

Singer-songwriter John Legend married longtime girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, in front of friends and family at Lake Como, Italy. The couple exchanged vows Saturday after becoming engaged while vacationing in the Maldives in 2011, People reported. In May, Teigen, 27, told People that she and Legend, who began dating seven years ago, were pretty laid-back when it came to the planning of their wedding.
"[John] and I have been working and traveling so much that we just let our wedding planner do everything," Teigen said. "We're not neurotic about it. I just want to finally see all of my friends in one area."

LeBron James marries longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson

Miami Heat star LeBron James married longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson in San Diego during a ceremony attended by Beyonce and Jay-Z, People reported. The three-day event began with a barbecue Friday, which was attended by Heat teammate Dwayne Wade and girlfriend actress Gabrielle Union, fellow NBA players Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, and musicians Beyonce and Jay-Z, People reported Sunday. The main event was Saturday at the Grand Del Mar resort, where hundreds of guests gathered, KFMB-TV, San Diego, reported. The weekend ended Sunday with a farewell brunch. James and Brinson have two sons together, 8-year-old LeBron Jr. and 5 year-old Bryce, People said. The couple have been dating since they were in high school. Brinson told Harper's Bazaar in 2010 that she's dreamt of being a bride since she was 6 years old. She said when she married James, "I want it to be forever." "A person like myself always needs a great sidekick and a person you can rely on no matter the ircumstances. And she's that," James said of Brinson. "She's got my back and I love her for that."
