Ephesians 4:11-13

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Do you know any Christians who have been saved for many years, decades even, and yet are still immature in their faith? Paul admonishes believers to become mature, to seek the "meat" of the Word, so that we can do the work for God which we are called to do.

One way to progress toward maturity is to sit under the teaching of those whom God has called into the various positions of authority in the church. Their job is to equip and edify the saints, a sobering task; our job is to carry out the calling, in maturity, which God has given us.
