Acts 17:1-4

They came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying,

"This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ." And some of them were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

A common philosophy in today's society is to live and let live; that people have a right to their own beliefs as long as they are sincere. This is certainly not what the apostle Paul taught and lived. He devoted his entire Christian life to spreading the Good News and trying to convince people to believe in Jesus, the Messiah.

As Christians it is our privilege and our duty, as the Holy Spirit directs, to convince others that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. Amen!

God Bless You!

Voices distant through the days

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What evidence does the first chapter of Genesis give that there was only one land mass at the time of creation?

A. verse 9-10

Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:9&10

The concept that there was only one land mass, called Pangea, is supported by the jig-saw appearance of the present land masses on earth, and the way in which they seem to fit together if one were able to do so.
