Matthew 18:12

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

At times, Christians have difficulty when living through the experience of the above scripture. "I have been doing so much for this church. Why is so-and-so getting all of the attention? The Pastor has never come to my house! He has never had me over to his house, or taken me out dinner!" If any of these thoughts and feelings ever assail you, remember that there may be a sheep straying. Do not be jealous of the attention someone else is getting, for perhaps the shepherd is seeking that one sheep that is going astray.

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

I held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess.

--FEATURED FUNNY:

I watched an ant climb a blade of grass this morning. When he reached the top, his weight bent the blade down to the ground. Then, twisting his thorax with insectile precision, he grabbed a hold of the next blade.

In this manner, he traveled across the lawn, covering as much distance vertically as he did horizontally, which both amused and delighted me.

And then, all at once, I had what is sometimes called an "epiphany"; a moment of heightened awareness in which everything becomes crystal clear, albeit I felt dizzy.

Yes, hunched over that ant on my hands and knees, I suddenly knew what I had to do... Quit gardening in the full noonday sun.
