Psalm 1:1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

This is a tough one. It is trendy to be scornful of political leaders and other public figures. The press carries the banner. If you find yourself at any social gathering and the conversation leans toward scornful criticism towards anyone, I encourage you to pray and ask the Holy Spirit for help to either steer the conversation into a constructive bent, or back out completely.

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

My Italian American friend is very self-conscious about his height, or lack thereof. So I always steer clear of the subject.

One day, he and I went to lunch at a Sub shop.

"I'll take the Italian," he said to the guy behind the counter. "Salami, Provolone, and peppers."

"Do you want a full hero or half one?" came the reply.

"Ah... gimme a half," my friend says.

After placing our orders, we took our seats. A few minutes later, my friend grimaced when we heard...

"Small Italian, your order is up!"
