Romans 5:1-5

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.


Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Throughout the Old Testament we read about man's attempt to make peace with God through sacrifices. In fact, most religions focus on ways and means through which people unsuccessfully try to make peace or pacify gods of their own creation, rather than the God of creation.

That is the good news of Jesus Christ: He is the way through which salvation is available to all mankind; a way through which we can make true and lasting peace with God.

Acts 16:1

Timothy was a young believer who was greatly used of God. We learn a lot about him and the early church in the two letters written to him by the Apostle Paul.
