Luke 22:33-34

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with... the cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly."

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

The wonderful thing about prayer is that we are directed to "Just Do It!" Just think, our God, the Creator of all that exists, has given us an avenue through which we may communicate with Him whenever have the need or desire.

Not only that but He has given us many examples in His Word of how, why, and when to pray. All we have to do is follow the lead given in the Bible by Jesus and the believers!

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Little Johnny had been naughty and had been sent to his room to think things over. After a while he came out all smiles saying, "I thought and prayed."

"Fine," his mother said, "That will help you to be good."

"Oh," said Little Johnny, "I didn't ask God to help me to be good, I just asked Him to help you put up with me."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. How many people did Jesus baptize?

A. none

Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), He left Judea and departed again to Galilee.

John 4:1

Jesus knew that John would be imprisoned for his activities, and since His time had not yet come, He left Judea to avoid the same fate for Himself.
