Isaiah 53:3

He is despised and rejected by men.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

In the last issue, we saw that Jesus had no form or comeliness, or beauty--he was nothing to look at! Now we see that others despised and rejected Him! If anyone had reason to suffer from low self-esteem, our Lord and Savior did. But Jesus knew who He was and where He was going, (as we saw several weeks ago). He was confident in His Father's love. This gave Him confidence! His authority came from God on high. What does the esteem of others matter?

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Like most puppies, mine is not finicky about what he puts in his mouth. He Eats anything. But the day he swallowed a quarter, I panicked and called the vet.

"What should I do?" I pleaded over the phone.

My extremely laid-back vet answered calmly, "Swallowing a quarter is nothing to worry about. But if he does it again and he drops a can of soda, give me a call."
