Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up strife...

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

If you are ever tempted to stir up strife, I pray that the Holy Spirit brings this scripture to your memory immediately! None of us, as followers of the Lord, wish to harbor hatred in our hearts. But it is easy, sometimes, to stir up a bit of strife by sharing some news about one person, (with another person), knowing that it will cause tempers to rise and judgments to soar (in the wrong direction, of course). We are to sow love, not strife. We are to love, not hate!

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

To know Christ is the way to grow in holiness. Ask yourself, in the moment of perplexity or temptation, what would He do if He were here? Nothing else will so surely lead us into the way of holy living.

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Torrential rainstorms were knocking down power lines all over town. That meant, as a customer service rep for the electric company, I was dispatching repairmen right and left.

When one lineman called a customer to get her exact address, he was told, "I'm at Post Office Box 99."

The weary lineman replied, "Ma'am, I'll be coming to you in a truck, not an envelope."

A. Sandals.

Mark 6:8-9

He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff -- no bag, no bread, no copper in their money belts --but to wear sandals.
