Proverbs 3:27

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

This is an interesting exhortation. Why would anyone ever want to withhold good to those to whom it is due. Jealousy perhaps?--or greediness?--not wanting to share, even when it is in the power of your hand to give? Let us guard against these evils!

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

An elderly parish priest was tending his garden near a convent when a passerby stopped to inquire after the priest's much-loved roses.

"Not bad," said the priest, "but they suffer from a disease peculiar to this area known as the black death."

"What on earth is that?" asked the passerby, anxious to increase his garden knowledge.

"Nuns with scissors."
