Proverbs 3:7-8

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

If you are feeling sick all the time, perhaps struggling with chronic sickness, I encourage you to do a little bit of soul searching, and see if there is any area of your life in which you are wise in your own eyes, (but not in the Lord's will), or are you actively living in any sin. Mind you, I am NOT SAYING that everyone who is sick is living in sin! I am only encouraging all of us to do a bit of spiritual house cleaning--it can never hurt.

God Bless You!

Q. Why did Solomon want the Cedars from Lebanon?

Answer below.

To love is. . .the real duty of patriotism, whereas, in the mouths of many of its noisiest professors, the point would rather seem to be hate.

-John Asyscough

As an instructional assistant for a public school, part of my job involves teaching small groups of children. One day I was in charge of some second-graders, who were concentrating on their artwork. As I reached across to help a student, he remarked that something smelled good.

I was pleased that he noticed my perfume, until he held a wide felt-tip pen up to his nose and said, "Yep. New markers."

Q. Why did Solomon want the Cedars from Lebanon?

A. In order to build God's house.

1 Kings 5:5-6

And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to my father David, saying, "Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name."

Now therefore, command that they cut down cedars for me from Lebanon.
